I think it will be great if we can see more of transformers... so i agree if theres more than 3 movie, TF4 and TF5
theres more characters to explore, more to perfect
please dont stop at 3

I doubt Michael wants to devote the rest of his career to Transformers. I think #3 is the perfect time to stop with the franchise and perhaps reboot it in 5-10 years. But that's just my opinion.

Reboots? No reboots. Transformers 4,5,6 must move forward in the future.. showing the son of Sam and Mikaela during his path to become an Headmaster and help Autobots.
Obviously it's highly unlikely that Michael Bay would continue directing the second trilogy simply because he wouldn't have time to direct any other movie genre if that the case.
Maybe Transformers4 could be directed by Steven Spielberg himself unless Bay and Spielberg will select another director able to continue to direct the franchise with a proper style.
Unless Hasbro CEO goes insane in 2012 they should re-new the agreements with Spielberg and Bay as executive producers for movies and main investors in the franchise, even if none of the two would direct the movies.
Mr. Bay may end his trilogy, but that doesn't mean there won't be more TF films made. And they don't nessarly have to be a reboot. There could be a series of trilogies like they did with Star Wars and what they are doing with the Terminator Franchise.

^ Yes. He has other stuff he wants to do, other projects he wants to pursue. So if he wants to take a "break" after TF3, I think that's great. Other directors may have a go at TF in the interim, or he may come back to it. It sorta depends on what TF3 is like, how it does, how it ends...

it would be awsome if Bay did a fourth film after Pain & Gain , and possibly another movie in between such as BadBoys 3..seeing TF's again after 6 years would be awsome!!......

No way, not 5 or 10 years. Pick it right up , especially if it's a cash cow for Paramount. If Bay decides to stop, just hand the next one off to a new team. Money is no longer an issue/worry with these films. The question would be , who would make a film equal to or better than a Bay TF film? It would have to be somebody pretty big time and no less.

Jon Favreau(sp). He did do an excellent job with Iron Man. I could see him doing Transformers.

i think a good idea is to have TF3 focus on the TFs that were in 2 but did not get enough screen time, and then have a different bunch of TFs in 4 and 5. Leave OP BB et al and have say magnus warpath etc totally ignoring the other bunch.

They could probably make 20 TF movies. There are so many story lines they could go with and so many freaking robots it's ridiculous. They could probably take one episode of TF and run with it. As long as Paramount and Dreamworks are making crazy money off of this they will keep making them.

i personally think they should "stop" at three. then in about five or ten years later, make transformers 4 and 5. but not a reboot. it can have sam mikeala, and they can have their son in it. only shia can just have a cameo. and sams son can be like a descendent and the decepticons could try to come after him. and optimus and the autobots can defend him like they defended sam. that could become a pretty interesting plot.

well, 8 now, because I should divided the ROTF in 2 different movies.
Transformers - Rise of the Fallen
Transformers - Matrix of Leadership
The first one should have ended with Optimus' death, the Fallen revealin' TF existence in the world and the hunt for Sam, who meanwhile goes findin' Jetfire.
and the second until the end.
Come on! Everybody here knows that would have been the greatest thing to do!
It worked so damned well for POC2 and 3, why cound't it worked for TF?

i don't think he can make TF4 and should not , but other the bay no has born to direct the movie so i hope that TF3 will be the last in the series

It's not like he will stop making movies after TF3. He still has Pain and Gain and, possibly BB3 after TF3. Now let's be serious, you know you don't want it to end at 3. Be honest with yourself. It's OK.
