View Full Version : Which country would you like to see in TF3?

As ya'll know Transformers origin was born from the collaboration of Japanese & Americans that makes it internationally known franchise with a colossal scale in fanbase. Almost every country had a their own TF fan groups too.
Bay had filmed mostly in US (of course), and had recently ventured further to Jordan and Egypt for the pyramids. A mock scene of Shanghai did abit justice for east asian fans.
However, if M.Bay were to shoot internationally again, which country would you like to have michael bay shooting in for TF3 this time?
Do you agree if local TF fans in that respective country that M.Bay were to shoot could liaise with M.Bay and help him out a little as a way of contributing to the fandom?

Whoa, hey mate, don't take it personal okay? There are a lot of countries not on that list :) It's just a list of some general places that astrosurge posted (am I right?), that ‘hypothetically’ speaking could be a good filming location, nothing more. :)

Okay, since I'm to biased with voting for Australia :D I’ll go with South Africa and Afghanistan. Imo, Afghanistan has some stunning geographical landscapes.

I'm bound to say this because I'm Bitish but it would be so cool in London. There's so much to destroy. There's Big Ben, Buckhingham Palace, Tragalar Square, Saint Paul's Cathedral and a Decepticon could use the London Eye as a weapon against an Autobot!

It would be great if Australia were used more for locations for big budget movies; boost up our film industry. :) There are so many Salt Flats throughout Australia that could be used for fight scenes, Lake Amadeus near Uluru (Big Red Rock) at Alice Springs, centre of Australia. In TF2, it was Optimus next to the Pyramids and Sphinx, for TF3 perhaps, Optimus next to Uluru? Lake Mackey in Tanami Desert in NT is a good location, however I’d like to see battle scenes filmed on Lake Disappointment. Support Western Australia! :D Nobody ever films here...very disappointing indeed.
:lol Yeah, if ya want snow battles, Canada or Antarctica would be the best bet.

im all for malaysia, small country, big fan of TF ranging from kids to adults, commoners to VIPs. If Tf3 scenes would be depicted globally, Malaysia have them all as our nation is diversely mutiracial. Our roads are well connected and every places offer different environment of shooting be it the caves, hills, mountain, lake, dam, island and urban areas, we have them all.
i know the states too have all that, but well, if m.bay were to shoot in a new place for a change, i would welcome bay and crew to malaysia.
I'd like to see Mr. Bay film a few scenes in Newfoundland, Canada (Well, we were a country before we joined Canada). Outlander (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0462465/) was filmed here, and there a few locations that would look great on the big screen.

I agree to you. In my land that also becomes nothing! Pity. Our government has not permitted in ROTF that our soldiers may take part in the film. Something like that from Crazy!:eek:

But Germany has great views of Schwarzwald, Alpenstraße and nice schnellstraßen for Bots/Cons to chase and fight. ;)

Siberia/Northern Canada/Alaska, for cold, snowy climate battle scene.
Brazil, specifically the Amazon, for a lush, thick, mountainous rain forest scene. (it'd be the ultimate way to test ILM's skills)

Norway! Although I doubt they will, too expensive.. The snowy scenes in Star Wars were shot in Norway..
One can dream..
It would be nice to see some of TF 3 filmed in Australia. If it was near where I live all the cooler. Locations near where family or friends live also cool.

LOL I can see it now....Hundreds of Tents and Swags surrounding the set location, dotted by camp-fires and tilly lamps hoisted up on tree limbs like fireflies….That would be so cool! :D

I don't think you should film alot of Transformers in Australia , however involving Australia in the story would be cool, you could have the Decpticons attacking "Pine Gap" the USA intelligence centre in SA, maybe have "Tidlewave " appear under the harbour bridge and crush it. Maybe an Autobot that transforms into a Holden Ute (Pontiac)
