What plot would you like to see in TF3

There's a number of threads around what people would like to see in TF3, but what plots would you most like?

If only to be specific, Something that involves a giant galactic battle between Autobots and Decepticons that finally brings the Cybertronian war to an end and the recovery of Cybertron.

What I think would allow Mr.Bay to deliver some great action sequences, visual and CGI of huge massive scale never seen before and make the 3rd movie an outstanding epic experience way better than the first two movies and way darker:

- Having a city like for example New York or Los Angeles being alive, actually a giant Decepticon in disguise (the concept appears on original anime and comics series)

- In that city there would be a lot of Decepticon Pretenders disguised as humans that kidnap and replace real humans to use them for experiments to merge humans and Transformers (Decepticons trying to create something like Headmasters)

- In such a city strange things would start happening and being reported by the population.. like for example a building that moves all of a sudden at night

- Autobots and human soldiers fighting inside buildings against Pretenders in that city for some great visuals like never seen before

- Long fighting/chasing sequences on the highway in that city like only Mr.Bay can achieve to do

- Around 3/4 or for the final battle/end of the movie the city turning into a massive giant scale robot with many humans getting killed in the process while Autobots and the military desperarely try to evacuate as many civilans as possible

- Quintessons approaching planet Earth with the request to give them the Headmasters technology that only the Autobots managed to have

- Autobots revealing to Sam and Mikaela that they were scanned by them and they found out that their genetics is the only one compatible with Headmasters technology but while they don't perfectly match and can't use it at full power their children will...

- If Unicron would get introduced then the movie should be no less than 180minutes long

- If there is no Unicron in the movie then at least no less than 160minutes runtime with: giant Decepticon town, an horde of Pretenders, Quintessons, Headmasters

- Mikaela becoming pregnant of Sam during the movie and Autobots revealing the destiny that their kid will have to follow to become an Headmaster and save both Earth and Cybertron

- The full Headmaster (Sam/Mikaela son) would be the only one able to make Primus appear in our dimension and only Primus could be able to prevent Unicron from destroying planet Earth...

- Headmaster would be an onion like process .. alive metal merging with human body like a living armor without hurting the host which would be connected directly thru DNA...

- Decepticons experiments to create Headmasters like technology would be painful for humans and the host would get used by the machine as it was an additional needed battery.. with a lot of humans dying in the process.


These are just some basic plot ideas that I think would be absolutely great for Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg to develop further on.
I think that those elements could deliver an outstanding epic movie of massive scale able to give the franchise something new and never seen before with some huge, complex and surely expensive CGI needed to achieve it along with some amazing visuals that only Mr.Bay can deliver on action scenes.

This is what I hope it is:


It would be awesome to see a scenario where Unicron rebuilds Megatron (because Prime basically kicked his arse) into Galvatron and tells him to destroy Optimus Prime and Sam (because they have the essence of the Matrix of Leadership within them, which is the key to awakening Primus... which is what Unicron would fear). With Galvatron not shown the ability to stop Optimus Prime, Unicron vows to destroy Earth's polar ice caps. The Autobots realise that they have no choice but to awaken Primus, even if the essence doesn't have enough spark to keep Primus conscious long enough to stop Unicron.

Sam, Mikaela and the Autobots journey to Cybertron's core to awaken Primus. A fierce battle between a possesed Galvatron (evil in any event) and his Decepticon army takes vs. the Autobots and with the help of their human allies take place in the ruined and death filled cities of Cybertron. The fight leads all the way to the core of the planet, eventually. Optimus learned that Unicron is attempted to Earth's civilization. despirately uses the essense of the Matrix, as well as Sam (he carries it as well) and they awaken Primus. Primus transforms and he automatically knows that his eternal evil brother, Unicron, has caused great havok. Primus screams Unicron's name in the Cybertronian language... which is heard throughout the galaxy and Unicron hears it. Primus and Unicron battle to the death which cause some planet nearby to tremble. Primus ultimately wins, then he says the line "Till all are one" transforms back into Cybertron and goes back into his slumber for eternity.

Prime says his usual epic speech.

This one better have the most epic car chase ever. I mean, we have Michael Bay + Giant Alien Robots that transform into cool cars.

This missing was probably my biggest gripe with the first two movies.

TRANSFORMERS 3 storyline
The movie opens with multiple attacks around the world from the decepticons.
The Autobots were asked to leave the earth in the hope the dcons would do the same.
Megatron just sees this as the chance to take over the planet and enslave all humans.
Megatron who is badly hurt from t2 now gets dumped in space by starscream who sees this as his chance to take over command of the decepticons and earth.
The government see that they made a big mistake and desperately try to make contact with the abots.
At this moment they could introduce a dinobot(grimlock) in the same way they did with megatron.
Grimlock crashed on earth in the dinosaur age and his ship automatically scanned a dinosaur form for him.
They found him and kept him frozen also.
They see he has an autobot symbol so they activate him in order to make contact.
Now the abots arrive and big battles follow.
Order has now been somewhat restored.
At this point BLASTER receives an sos signal from the twins(there they are) they are on a surveillance ship when they are attacked by unicron who is destroying a planet and sucking them in.
He is headed for cybertron to destroy all transformers and obtain the matrix.
The government now finds out that earth lies on its path.
Megatron is now being recruited by unicron(becoming Galvatron) to prepare his coming.
Galvatron attacks earth and kills bumblebee(hate me for it, but it works for the drama and impact)He could be replaced by HOT ROD as his new friend and car.
Earth heavilly under attack autobots and decepticons decide to have a temporary peace in order to stop unicron.
Unicron ofcourse being not as big as in the cartoon but more like a big asteroide or small moon.
Now dcons and abots come driving and flying in from every street.
You could now have beautiful cameraview flying over a city wher you see them coming from everywhere side by side heading towards unicron who has now been transformed into robot form and crashed on earth.
Many transformers get destroyed, and this is the moment galvatron realizes there soon will be nothing to rule over anymore.
He decides to tell prime that the matrix is the only thing that can destroy him.
After destroying him prime falls down, exhausted.
Now starscream points a gun at him and says he's going to kill him.
Galvatron kills starscream and tells prime there will be peace for the moment.

Some points:

-Theres still room for humor, especially with abots and dcons working together. And the first one who should attack unicron must be wheelie, him kicking against his foot or something.
-Please more talking,debating,discussing robots and the humans a little more to the background.
-And the solution to the fear that there will be to many robots is simple.
Like the first movie have a basic team of autobots and decepticons who are on the foreground with much screentime, and put other robot on the background and sometimes say a few words, and not the humans in the foreground and the most important robots in the background saying a few things like

The Japanese concept of Headmaster fits the "Bay-verse" much better, a Transformer that has a 'Head' form (triple changer maybe), combining with the larger 'Transector' - a lifeless Transformer body, generally in the form of a vehicle or spaceships for leaders.

If the Baybots get Headmasters, it must be the Japanese concept.

Headmaster concept on the movie must not and should not follow the same version seen on either anime or comics.
It must be more realistic that is the reason why I wrote on my wish list for the inclusion of Headmasters concept in the movie it should work as an onion like process... with metal surrounding humans creating an armor.. Regarding the Headmaster issue i think there a way to bring it in. I mean, Sam gets his head jammed full with the allspark energy! But through out the movie its like nothing happened. all you get are these little hallucinations. What if, just like the fallen said, the allspark just transformed itself into Sam, and during the movie, he started to change, gaining a robot body and ultimately transforming into the new allspark!

He could become a head- or powermaster for prime or Hotrod or he could be considered "The last autobot" that is supposed to come and finish the war for good.

In the end his essence becomes the new allspark and because he sees that he can no longer have a normal life, he decides to leave with the autobots to rebuild cybertron (kinda like frodo in the end of the lord of the rings).

it kinda bothers me that with all this great power all around and within Sam, that he remains baisically normal. there should be a physical consequence to all he's gone through.

No, it wouldn't work. Having Sam transformed into an Autobot forever without the ability to get separated from metal would cause some serious plot and characters development issues:

- the Autobot Headmaster technology would look evil to humans.. causing human sacrifice to create Headmasters... it would make sense for Decepticons trying to create Headmasters not for Autobots

- Sam like the character he resembles along with Mikaela should be alive in the future still as human and become a background character in the next trilogy of movies which should set no less that 15 years in the future featuring the son of Sam and Mikaela and his destiny to become an Headmaster and help Autobots

I think the whole "planet" thing has been thrown around alot, Unicron was smaller than Cybertron - and Cybertron was the size of Earth's moon. In any event, I would be perfectly happy with a Death Star/small moon sized Unicron alt mode, and rumor has it that TF3 will be a intergallatic setting (which would push the issue of having it soley human for 80% of the movie). Besides, it's the perfect way to end these movies, if TF3 is the last of the series.

I assume when they say "life" I think they mean that peice was ruined when the Decepticons seeked the All-Spark, and that war destroyed life. Not the planet, I don't think. Optimus Prime can be a little vague and his quotes can mean alot of things.

[The Fallen]

The movie starts with Optimus and the Autobots fightin' against Megatron and the Decepticon on the Earth. At first the Autobots are beaten, but with the USArmy they can beat the Decepticons.
Starscream use this situation to betray Megatron and stab him in the back.
The Decepticons retreat to the Nemesis, and Starscream kills the decepticons that are loyals to Megatron. New Constructicons squad join Starscream and form Devastator, who fights Bruticus, formed by the Combacticons, that wanted to kill Starscream and become the new Decepticon Leader. Fight against the two TF. Devastator wins. Then Starcream use Devastator's Grinder Vortex to throw Megatron's and Combacticons corpses deep in the space.
Starscream wants revenge on the humans who destroyed the Allspark and start a new war against the humans.
The scene moves from the battleground to Sam's college, where he's studin' science with the Prof. Isaac Sumdac. After the lesson, he meets the scientist daughter, Sari, and Sam felt a strange feeling about her.
Then he get called by Bumblebee and he's bringed to Optimus.
To face the new menace, Optimus decide to give to the humans the cybertronian technology and Sam becomes the first HeadMaster.
Meanwhile Megatron and Costructicons's corpses, in the space, collide with a massive, and mysterious starship.


this could be an awesome intro for the movie, introducing Sari Sumdac, the Headmasters, the combacticons and Unicron

Now that the whole world has seen The Fallen's message, The Autobots and NEST are getting alot of grief. Sam, Mikala, and Leo can't even walk down the street unnoticed, leading exSector 7 agent Simmions to commit suicide (:lol!).

The Twins however are enjoying the pupbilcity. Megatron and Starscream find it away to scare the planet. Using Soundwave, they transmit radiowaves (or something like that) to scare the humans on earth that the Transformers mean harm. With more Decepticons on the way to earth as proof to the humans, a dark force known as Unicron finds this as a chance to see what Primus has been up to, and sends out a herald to scout the area of Earth following the Decepticons. As the herald, Sideways comes to Earth, Starscream is having problems with Megatron, now not only having arguments, but thinking that Megatron is not powerfull and smart enough to be the Decepticon leader. Sideways sees this and finds it away to help pentrate the Decepticons, tricking Starscream into a way to that he can make him leader.

The Autobots and NEST start making plans to destroy the new Decepticons, after the Twins' close relationship with the public, the public ripped them apart in anger (:p Happy Now?) As NEST and the Autobots find out that Sideways is on Earth, Optimus knowing about him, tells Sam the history of Primus and Unicron (leading to loads of Cybertron flashbacks). They also find out about Starscream's lust and that Sideways is leading him to something known as the Starsaber, which is hidden in the Artic Circle. Sam asks Optimus if he can come along to see if he can find out any info on his great great grandfather. Megatron finds out that the Autobots are all in one area, and so he and the Decepticons head off to the artic as well.

As a battle rages on in the Artic, Sideways and Starscream go looking for the Starsaber. Once found, Starscream grabs it and goes off to find Megatron. With all the badass Autobots fighting away for more screentime, Megatron finds his way to Optimus and kills him. With Optimus gone, and Starscream away, Sideways sees this as a chance to pentrate the Autobots.

Story continues:
The Autobots call off the battle while NEST continues the job. As the Autobots moarn over Optimus, Sideways is gaining info. Starscream, with the Starsaber, kills Megatron, thus taking control of what remains the Decepticons. The movie has a rather sad ending.

Post Credits scene: Sideways contacts Unicron to say that Megatron is dead, and that he should send down the Matrix of Chaos so Sideways can reanimate him into Galvertron to help him, help Unicfron, to overthrow the Transformers and Primus.

Of coarse, cliffhanger for a 4th. Decepticons come down in Ark, Soundwave is on earth, all the good charaters get screentime (thats why there are no new Autobots) dumb charaters get an early fate, and there are lots of Cartoon connections. :D

In Each movie.. MB kills a few 1000s of US soldiers.. So in the 3rd one.. I hope in the bad guys attack some country.. In a US military disguise. And so the US will be blamed and have to admit to the world about the aliens and stuff..

Or some parts in the middle east where decepticons are supporting some terrorist groups..

A prequel would be good too.. Like explaining why Megatron became what he is.

All things go as per normal with the fallen dead, megatron and his factions in hiding and repairing.Autobots with no cause and thinking the war has ended starts having debates to having to stay or return to cybertron (still war torn)to spare earth of any further disaster from the MIA Megatron & his decepticons who has seemed dissapeared.Ultra Magnus arrives and orders Optimus to return to his homeworld along with his comrades.Optimus agrees but Ironhide does not as he has this gut instinct something is wrong.meanwhile sam & mikaela has moved in together and is settling down in their careers.(so not much story with them)

Meanwhile, left with no "master" Megatron decides to jus take over cybertron and plans to leave earth.Starscreams disagrees as he sees a opportunity to rule earth with megs gone.The decepticons split into two factions.Megs leave with his loyals.While travelling their ship gets sucked into a huge vacuum and they dissappears into a wormhole !
Soundwave sends a last signal before he gets sucked along.

Soundwaves signal reaches all decepticons.Starscream realises somethings wrong.but takes no action as he is overjoyed at the thought of ruling both earth and cybertron.Suddenly all Transformers, autobots & decepticons alike receives a sharp mental pyschic attack.All power on earth shuts down leaving a worldwide blackout.Within a secs, it comes back on."Galvatron" comes live on TV claiming that the end is near and blacks out.Satellite receives signal that a huge, (3/4) of moon size object approaching earth.At this point Ultra magnus reveals that it is Unicron and he is coming towards earth to consume it.As the fallen activated the sun's energy sucking machine which was destroyed in T2, apparently the unicron was supposed to come as always to consume the planet.But nevertherless he is coming.Hence Ultra magnus wants the autobots to leave as no on can stop Unicron.Optimus refuses to leave earth but lets each autobots to decide on their own.Ironhide meanwhile has gone out alone to hunt for any decepticons which he suspects in hiding in some frozen land and gets cornered by starscream and some decepticons.He is bout to be blown off but gets rescued by accidently awakening the dinobots who have been frozen and in stasis mode in ice for ages !!!he is also viewed as threat by the dinobots but they decide to interrogate him.in process chomping one of his canon arm off as ironhide displays protests !seeing his autobot symbol later they let him off.and asks to be left alone.(at this point they all receive the pyschic attack)The dinobots knows of the Unicron's arrival as they have ancient knowledge and tells ironhide to awaken primus !!! in order to defeat unicron.ironhide rushs back to find his frs to relay this message.

Galvatron arrives with his new upgraded decepticons by Unicron to wage war on the humans autobots alike.ironhide injured badly from the previous attack from starscream and his factions plus the dinobots aggression is on the verge of power down..permanently !Arriving at a town, he finds a young autobot called Hotrod and passess this message before shutting down.hotrod races down to the autobots to inform of ironhides message.Sad of their comrades sacrifice but to save earth they rush to coordinate with the military to awaken primus.Primus is not cyberton but the core of it.Cybertron breaks to reveal Primus and he arrives to stop unicron.

In the thread where people complained about Megan Fox being whiney and Sam not being able to tell this hot woman who's way out of his league he loves her......(When the local table busser is able to tell his dishwasher girlfriend he loves her after a meal to Taco Bell.....)

-Fix their relationship. Make it progress naturally. Compare the Mummy series to Spiderman, for example.
In the Mummy, guy meets girl, falls in love at the end.
Second Mummy, couple are married and enjoying new love, with kid in tow. Guy loses girl, gets her back.
Third movie, guy and girl are long married, and very settled in, and relationship is strong. Dad and son have issues that mom helps with.

Whereas, with Spiderman, guy loves girl, they kind of get together at end, but remain friends.
Second movie, girl now likes guy, guy is flaky because he's superhero.
She decides to stay with him at end after it all. Nice so far.
BUt blah! Third movie - guy is annoying narcissist, girl is pouty and whiney. Relationship falls apart, and in end they're back together.. again, ...barely. (I was expecting this one to end in their marriage, but they're worse off than the end of part 1...)

So, first of, just let the realtionship progress. Sam sees the error of his adolescent ways, and apologizes to girl for not freely telling her he loves her,....and does so frequently in this movie! She matures and the relationships gets more comfortable and closer. He proposes near beginning of movie. They get married somewhere in there.

ok i know alot of ppl might disagree with me but number one i dont want to see the dino bots grimlock yes no damn dinosaurs, i do want to see the whole unicron storyline with some changes and i like the mid west idea, how about megs and galves with star and cyclonus and soundwave and some other decepticons, and say optimus, roddimus, ironhide, kup and the rest of the autobots, might be an idea. Personally i want to see more sideways A version of blaster and i agree more chase scenes and id love to see two city transformers autobot and decepticon i dont know!!!

I personally never liked the Head Masters storylines, because it moved away from the simple beginning that so many series do. The story becomes convoluted - example: The first Jaws - it's just a shark, and it eats ayone, it's just a hungry shark. Well made, directed and written. The last Jaws - Jaws is now psychic! and wants revenge against the wife of the guy who first killed it..... and now it's in absurd territory. That's why Iron man sadly only has a few movie run - that comic got screwey as time went on.

Keep the plot simple.
Unicron was always my favorite robot.....because he was MYSTERIOUS. He was never given an explanation in the original movie. It was some unknown force that had to be dealt with. It was neither Autobot nor Decepticon, which was even better.

What disappointed me most about Transformers 2, was that the origial story of the Fallen was that he served Unicron, and I assumed they would follow that mythology. They had to fight this mysterious robot called The Fallen, he is defeated, but his last action was to call forth Unicron.
But instead he's just some bigger robot who can be killed with a big enough gun, basically. I literally cringed when he stole Unicron's "Wretched little planet" line. Because that was the original movie's climactic scene - When Unicron coldy called Cybertron "That wretched little planet," we all realized that he didn't give a shit about Cybertron, which you kind of assumed up to that point he did, and then he proceeds to rip it to shreds.

I liked the design of the Quintessons also, and the fact that they were also mysterious. I'm fine with the Primus story origin, but I wish Transformers 3 would be about the Autobots and humans trying to defeat this mysterious planet Unicron, with no extra help from Primus. That's always a cop out - we'll just introduce the one character that can beat him and sit back while he does all the work....

I always loved the HERALD storylines, where a powerful character appears, and warns of an even MORE powerful one approaching - Silver Surfer preparing for Galctus, the alien scientist warning the world about Terminus, the two prophets who will supposedly appear to warn of the coming of the AntiChrist, etc.

Don't dumb it down for the MTV Generation, they need to use at least THREE of their brain cells every now and then. Not everything needs a clear, spelled out, easy to digest origin. Why was Heath Ledger's Joker better than Jack Nicholson's? Ledger's Joker was never explained, you had to create your own origin in your head. Burton's Joker was fully explained, so the mystery was gone. Of course, BUrton's Joker really didn't do any major damage, it was too clean a finish. Nolan's Joker DID STUFF. He killed Rachel, the Commissioner, propelled Gordon to the job, blew up a hospital, created Two-Face, killed a few crime lords, and turned Batman from vigilante to suspected murderer.

Why not have Unicron tear up Cybertron, and it stays torn up? In the original movie, he ate two of it's moons. His head forever became the new moon. Permanent changes. Maybe he is defeated near Earth, and now Earth has two moons, the Moon, and Unicron's head!

And for GODSAKES!! DON'T MAKE UNICRON A DAMN CLOUD!!!! Thank you crappy Fantastic 4. As if, with all the technology we have nowadays, they couldn't build a big model, or CGI spaceship !!!!!!!!!???????

What I think would allow Mr.Bay to deliver some great action sequences, visual and CGI of huge massive scale never seen before and make the 3rd movie an outstanding epic experience way better than the first two movies and way darker:

- Having a city like for example New York or Los Angeles being alive, actually a giant Decepticon in disguise (the concept appears on original anime and comics series)

- In that city there would be a lot of Decepticon Pretenders disguised as humans that kidnap and replace real humans to use them for experiments to merge humans and Transformers (Decepticons trying to create something like Headmasters)

- In such a city strange things would start happening and being reported by the population.. like for example a building that moves all of a sudden at night

- Autobots and human soldiers fighting inside buildings against Pretenders in that city for some great visuals like never seen before

- Long fighting/chasing sequences on the highway in that city like only Mr.Bay can achieve to do

- Around 3/4 or for the final battle/end of the movie the city turning into a massive giant scale robot with many humans getting killed in the process while Autobots and the military desperarely try to evacuate as many civilans as possible

- Quintessons approaching planet Earth with the request to give them the Headmasters technology that only the Autobots managed to have

- Autobots revealing to Sam and Mikaela that they were scanned by them and they found out that their genetics is the only one compatible with Headmasters technology but while they don't perfectly match and can't use it at full power their children will...

- If Unicron would get introduced then the movie should be no less than 180minutes long

- If there is no Unicron in the movie then at least no less than 160minutes runtime with: giant Decepticon town, an horde of Pretenders, Quintessons, Headmasters

- Mikaela becoming pregnant of Sam during the movie and Autobots revealing the destiny that their kid will have to follow to become an Headmaster and save both Earth and Cybertron

- The full Headmaster (Sam/Mikaela son) would be the only one able to make Primus appear in our dimension and only Primus could be able to prevent Unicron from destroying planet Earth...

- Headmaster would be an onion like process .. alive metal merging with human body like a living armor without hurting the host which would be connected directly thru DNA...

- Decepticons experiments to create Headmasters like technology would be painful for humans and the host would get used by the machine as it was an additional needed battery.. with a lot of humans dying in the process.


These are just some basic plot ideas that I think would be absolutely great for Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg to develop further on.
I think that those elements could deliver an outstanding epic movie of massive scale able to give the franchise something new and never seen before with some huge, complex and surely expensive CGI needed to achieve it along with some amazing visuals that only Mr.Bay can deliver on action scenes.

i dont know what the plot for number three is so the short version

con and bots fighting it out with 98% of cons dying and the rest surrendering.

TF 4. The aliens are the enemy. OP and other bots have to try and go to cybertron to find primus which is buried deep in the core. they battle battlion of aleins retreving primus. back on earth they ressurect all fallen bots but because there is no all spark the power of primus is limited. The bots ressurect cons to help defeat the alien invasion but not megs or those loyal to megs eg blackout. Cons given ultimatum live in peace with earth and bots fight aliens or die. primus is lost/stolen by barricade and together with ravage frenzy doctor bring back megs and blackout etc and drain primus in process. Bots and cons defeat aliens, BUT megs return takes command of cons and leaves earth for moon/mars whatever camp. follows aliens back to home world..

bring on TF 5?.....
