I nominate my 2008 Scion xB with a 400W amp and 12" 200W Subwoofer for Soundwave in TF2. Scion's are commonly modified by their owners, especially the soundsystems. Soundwave could be a heavily modified xB with a huge earth-shattering soundsystems that he uses as a sonic-based weapon in his robot mode. Here's pics of my 2008 Scion xB Decepticon...

That cool! BUT!!! I think Soundwave should be much bigger. I thinnk he should at least be the size of Prime. Also sorry but I really think Bay and crew are going to make him some sort of Military something or other. But as for your ride I think it would make a badass Decepticon.

I think Soundwave should be the new stealth bomber, it would best fit his role for the Decepticons

No i think he would be too big. A right size for soundwave i think would be the size of ratchet or ironhide.

Ironhide size might be right. Either way, he needs to be much bigger than a Scion. Have you ever seen one parked next to an SUV or pickup? They are tiny.

Thanks for the feedback! I know it's wishful thinking about the xB Soundwave but thought I'd throw it out there and show off my Decepticon xB too :) As mentioned, I'm sure Bay will probably go with something bigger and military for Soundwave. I loved TFTM and his choices for all the vehicle and robot modes so I'm confident I'll be happy with his direction for Soundwave too. I do think it'd be cool if they did something regarding Soundwave having a sound-based weapon in his arsenal.

Regarding the size - The xB is almost two feet shorter than the current Mustang but considerably taller, coupled with it's inherent square-ness, I think a xB-sized Transformer would be comparable to Barricade or Bumblebee in alt-mode.

I remember the G1 Rumble/Frenzy twins. Rumble's definitely gotta have the jackhammers if they use him in TF2. I wouldn't mind seeing how they pull off Ravage and Lazerbeak either. Soundwave must have his minions.

I was jamming my system in the parking lot and my co-workers said they could feel it rumble from quite a few feet away. Rumble could be a transforming Subwoofer haha.

One of the few things I didn't like in the movie was that Scorponok didn't have an alt-mode. Megatron stayed in his cybertronian form but still transformed.

should have a big ass gun and he should have a attack like Bumblebee in the first movie where he makes a loud noice and all of Bobby Bolivia's cars gets their windows broken..
something like that would be nice.

Well dont U think its strange that every decepticon is something that is either Millitary or protection....Like barricade is a police car, starscream is a f-22 fighter jet, bonecrusher is a mine sweeper...brawl is a tanke...and well megatron...is and alian fighter plane....

Mine is a vinyl decal. I had them made at http://www.fastdecals.com/transformer_decals.htm
You choose from the different TF logos, then pick the color, size, and add f/x if you want. Very cheap. I picked the Decepticon06 movie logo, white, 4", no f/x. I'm not sure where to get logo magnets, but good luck searching.

I think they should just come on down in whatever they are up there in space and if they see something they like then they can feel free to change into whatever it is. ; )

If anything i think Blaster should be the Scion...

Its already been stated that Decepticons are Military or Law Enforcement Vehicles, while the Autobots are civilian production vehicles (Primarily GM brands).

If Soundwave can't be a portable music player, then i think he should be a SR-71 Blackbird (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SR-71_Blackbird). While it may not sound ideal, i think it would suit his personality the best.

- He is a Communications officer, but more importantly he works as a Spy. And what better Vehicle to be than the supposedly best spy plane ever created.

- He needs to look menancing, and the Scion doesnt really look menancing enough for me, however the Blackbird looks awesomely cool. But very dangerous

- The Black paintjob of the blackbird would suit him, like the Headmasters version of him.

- In the Cybertron series he appears as a Planet X jet, so him as a plane has already been used before.

I really want Soundwave to be in this movie, he is by far my favourite Character of them all. But he has to be done properly, he needs to be enigmatic, he needs to have his G1 voice, he needs his minions and he needs to be a real challenge for the Autobots. I like the choice of the vehicle at the start of the post, buti tihnk it should be more grunty, and meaner looking.

I was trying to find a website with much more artwork by the same artist - could find it. But it also involved Ravage being the Spare tyre ont he back (as you can see) and is able to detach, and transform OR roll quite fast then transform etc.

Thought that would be rad.

Ill keep loking for that site anyway.

Thoughts? I thought you might like this idea, as it is same sort of vehicle as the first suggested one, but this one is a radar truck or something, so something a little more related to "Soundwave"

Actually i found my avatar while looking throgh google images, but that picture looks awesome.

While looking for possible vehicle modes, i tried to look up a radar or communications truck that the military used. I could only find a variant of a military Humvee, which was too similar to what Ratchet is.

I like my Blackbird idea, but wouldnt be dissappointed at all if they went for something like that. It looks tough. If you did find the site, that would be most appreciated.
