do you think a teaser will come out a year before the movie comes out in 2009 like say around june 2008 like the first movie with the teaser #1 showing of the mars land rover?? im very impatient lol.

there should be. I remember Terminator 3, pearl harbour, the matrix, AVP all had teasers that were out a year before the film was out, and Im sure lots of other movies do that as well.

They start filming in June 2008....teaser might come in fall of 2008.

well i have seen the june 2008 date for filming around in a few places but i dont think anything right now is really official and i dont even think the release date of june 26th 2009 for the film is really official.

Nelson isn't Bay's official publicist, but he's damn close because he's the dude who runs his internet publicity. I would take what nelson says. He prolly knows.

If Tidal Wave is going to be in the flick then they should film that scene first and let it be the teaser. First a shot of the sea, and then a big air craft carrier that approaches a harbor and then suddenly stops and transforms, screen goes black - TRANSFORMERS II - July 2009.
That would be awesome :D

agreed. and then after that tho they should just do a quick audio of optimus primes voice saying "oh no". that would be tite.

or a underwater scene with the camera diving to the depths of the ocean... You see different kind of fishes swimming around, and then you see something lying there... it's megatron.. close up of his face... and suddenly his eyes get their red glow back (ie he is activated again), screen goes black ... TRANSFORMERS 2

maby they should start with Starscream leaving and then the megatron thing....maby introduce some of the new autobots and decepticons....they should add Arcee

Yup. It's been greenlighted, and preproduction (scouting of locations, CGI, all the preproduction crap) is going on NOW!!!
