Paramount Italy delays Transformers HD-DVD release,again...

..so it seems. This is just absurd if it's going to be true, absolutely insane. It was delayed already some months ago and shops had the 12-04-2007 release date.
Now, just 1 week before release it seems that it won't be available anymore for a long time, some websites are claiming that Paramount Italy has announced no new release date, it's unknown when it will get released. Is this a joke ? No, really..
I just bought an HD-DVD XBox360 add-on for watching Transformers HD-DVD on my HTPC... and now 1 week before release it gets delayed again?

Well, it seems that it has been delayed in Spain as well. www.dvdgo.com (http://www.dvdgo.com) a famous spanish shop has put delayed for Transformers HD-DVD release. www.dvd-store.it (http://www.dvd-store.it) , a well known shop in Italy now states the same. It seems that is the same release as per dvd-store.it disc info, since they say that Italian,English and Spanish languages are included.
In France and Germany there seems to be no delay and shops still list it for a 12-10-2007 release.

I hope Mr.Bay could do something about this, so that Paramount could work full force to ensure a pre-Christmas release, maybe around the 12-14-07 ; 12-21-07 time frame... I really can't understand why the Italian/Spanish European release must be delayed forever and miss the holidays shopping completely.
This is a real disappointment, on Italian forums it's full of people that ordered their copies long time ago and saw the release date now postponed two times already, it's looking no good for Paramount over here, it surely is bad marketing this way. Disappointing customers it's surely not a good way to push adoption of HD-DVD format in any way, if they ever wanted to.
All of this is getting pretty silly now. And watching the DVD release even if upscaled on HDTV panels it's surely not the same experience at all.

Are the XBox players Regional? Or can you actually buy a U.S. HDVD.

I think it sucks that they keep delaying the release, but if you really don't want to wait, import the disc, there's no region coding.

Back on topic: import it if there's no region coding. That'd be your best bet in getting it.
