What i wish to see in Transformers 3

this is what i imagine transformers 3 will look like. i guess tf2 made me too excited for a third transformers movie. since mike bay said that the 3rd movie will come out in 2012, i'll just dream about it for now.

If Scorponok (or however its spelled) is in the movies then the Dinobots could be in it. Not sure how they would make the story go but I can see it happening. There are many possibilities and we will see many ideas between now and 2012. Superion and Trailbreaker please!!!!!

I didn't think they would use the Dinobots after the first movie, but upon watching the sequel last night I wouldn't rule anything out. They seem to have this "everything including the kitchen sink" approach, so who knows? I wouldn't mind seeing some more scenes on Cybertron. It would get stale if it turned into another hunt for Sam.

primus and unicron can be modified for the movies. instead of planets transforming into robots, they are 200 foot tall robots in proto form. they can explore the origins of cybertron. primus and unicron can be depicted like a cain and abel story. it's got drama, it's got character development, and it's got action. what else can you ask for?

i really hope roberto orci and alex kurtzman think about it. it's a great idea.

I'm pretty sure this series was set for a Trilogy, so there is definitely going to be a 3rd. Plus, with all the money Revenge Of The Fallen is going to make. I don't see why they won't make a 3rd.

I heard that! Look at what the Transformers franchise has become. At first, no one believed that this movie could work in the first place and a lot of people deemed it a bust.

Yes, it has it's many flaws from the first film and especially this one, but it is still huge success worldwide. Hopefully the third time is a charm! It's going to be a long 3 years if BAY is true to his word.

I'd love to see more Jolt, Sideswipe, and Arcee. More Ironhide and Ratchet too. For the films, I think one Prime is enough. So no killing off Optimus for Rodimus. Cybertron flashbacks would be cool. More footage of it then we got in the first movie, though.

transformers 2 is now the 5th biggest opening of all time. so that is definitely a go signal for another sequel. it's dollars that approve sequels not braindead critics.

I want to see the Decepticons win one. Catering to the audience in letting the good guys win all the time is just so typical Hollywood. I thought this one would be different, because when you name a movie like it's the revenge of the bad guys, you're kinda implying they're going to actually win this round.

This franchise needs an "Empire Strikes Back", where even though the good guys live to fight another day, it's a movie the bad guys have well and truly won. You want to have people coming out of the cinemas with shocked expressions on their faces, going "oh my god, what are they going to do, i can't wait for the next one".

It's such a powerful way to get the audience caring about the characters, and about what happens, that it's such a pity they're almost too afraid to go there. Think about it, every time you care about the heroic good guys the most, it's when bad things have happened to them. Bumblebee getting his legs shot off in the first movie, and then Prime dying in the second.

Speaking of which, they need to stop killing and resurrecting leaders too. Both Megatron and Optimus have now died and been resurrected. That's getting a bit old.

Characters like Ironhide and Ratchet deserve a lot more screentime. They are well due. Newcomers to the series like the Twins and Wheelie should have taken a back seat, rather than, for some reason, having been put centrestage. They're not characters you could come to care for anyway, because almost every time they were used for humour it was at their expense.

When I think of the fabulous new characters such as Sideswipe and Arcee that were introduced so well and then literally forgotten, it makes me shake my head. What a terrible waste.

I also really want Steve Jablonsky to once again do the score. His work is second-to-none.

I like Michael Bay as a director, I really do, nobody does the action like he does, but I do think he has too much power out there on the playing field. A lot of the stuff, like the Twins, Wheelie, Devastator's Balls, I think a lot of that is his doing.

None of that is necessarily bad, as such, and I respect MB for having the balls to do it the way he wants, but when I see silly things like that I can't help thinking about what might have been.

No. Transformers3 must be really darker, a lot darker, it must be violent horror-style pushing the envelope further and introduce new threats that can't be so easily stopped by Autobots and militaries.

So, the idea of an alive city being a Transformer is a very good idea BUT it must be a Decepticon! And the city must be populated by thousands of Pretenders hidden among normal humans.... The feeling must be similar to the Dark City movie. All possible jokes in such a situation from characters must appear toned down and caused by them being scared to death.
Pretenders must capture and use humans living in the city for experiments.. replace some of them using their skin as a cover up. Since it must be a PG-13 movie it's not needed to show all the blood and people getting cut to pieces fully but still some blood and maybe most cruel and violent shots of the Decepticon experiments could be seen thru the use of shadows on a wall or the most cruel parts of the scenes filmed from behind a dirty glass and so on.. But that kind of thing is needed for Transformers3. Such a concept would work perfectly for the movie and feature something new that many sci-fi horror movies weren't able to deliver correctly due to their cheapness and bad directors.

And then having the Decepticon city moving parts of the buildings all of a sudden.. make people disappear.. killing people.. things like that.
Scenes featuring militaries and Autobots getting trapped in the city, unable to escape.. unable to move.. that kind of scenes.. would give Transformers3 a stronger plot and viewers would fear Decepticons more than what is given on the first two movies. Such a sense of horror and being trapped must last at least a good 40-50minutes in the movie.. the city must be a real threat and a mistery.. Autobots and militaries should only happen to find out some Pretenders there and not understand that there is an horde of Pretenders among the population.. and with no devices able to detect their presence hidden by living human tissue modified to not let radiations getting out of the skin and so no way to detect them.

Then at a point in the movie the city being attacked by more militaries and Autobots in search for the trapped ones would end up transforming itself into a huge like never seen before robot form, killing millions of people living inside it... Obviously only at the last moment militaries and other characters would figure out that the city is alive...
Having Mikaela, Sam and maybe Leo with Bumblebee arriving in the city for other reasons and unaware of military and other Autobots operations there would be a very complex and strong plot for at least the first part of the movie.
At the same time two bigger threats must be approaching planet Earth... Quintessons and Unicron.... Unicron being featured in the last part of the movie mainly.. the Quintessons threat appearing slowly and at the same time as viewers follow what is happening in the giant Decepticon city along with all the military and Autobots operations/scenes.
There is time before they will have a final script, I will try to detail my ideas further. I never wrote fanfics, I just love the Transformers universe and I think that my ideas might help the production in creating a Transformers3 movie able to feel fresh and new with a strong adult dark plot still being PG-13.

that sounds great, in tf1, the first time we see optimus prime, he transforms in front of mikaela and sam when they first meet. there's a shot coming from optimus' head looking down at same and mikaela, that looked like a cool shot. next time we need to see a shot of a transformer head pov while on a chase scene, it looks scary and exciting. i hope michael bay tries to do a shot like that.

not a bad idea. all im looking for is to break the cycle "bad guy beats up autobots, autobots react, beat badguy, end of film with Optimus looking at the sky." I think autobot loving fans cherish them for them and not just as a response to decepticon attacks. Id like the autobots to have the motivational spotlight instead of always the decepticons

And one of the first things I would like to see is the transformation of Megatron in Galvatrón, I think it would be an excellent development of character in the third, that would become more powerful than its rival Optimus Prime, some of the things I like to see is the emergence of the Dinobots, and since we had the privilege of watching the Constructicons as well as its incredible mix of Devastator, I think the right thing would be to show their natural rivals in the third, and finally a few mentions series for Transformers Beast Wars, which I think can be an excellent complement to develop future sequels based on this franchise, and allow the character to Unicrón fourth part

My biggest gripe is BumbleBee, you guys are impairing him by keeping him a mute. I know that it allows for more creative things to do with his radio, but he didn't do a whole lot of communicating in this film. I mean, the transformers can bring bots back to life but they can't fix a voice problem?

the space scenes can be just a 10 minute flashback of cybertron. a climactic battle should indeed take place on earth between primus and unicron. primus and unicron can be reinterpreted for the movie as something like 100 foot tall proto droids that never copy vehicles. they fight to the death on an isolated desert in africa.

i would like to see:
- Arcee returning
- More autobots and decepticons
- Megatron turning into Galvatron
- A highway pursuit sequence like the first movie but longer, with more action and some funny parts
- Unicron closing to the earth like Death Star in SW ep IV ("Unicron arriving in 30 seconds and counting")

- Transformers having thier final battle in Las Vegas

Here is what I would love to see:

1. Maybe a human woking with the Decepticons (Like sam works with bumblebee)
2. More screen time for Arcee...Arcee should be Mikaela's bike...and they should be like good friends.
3. This would be the final movie...the third one (I asume) so i think it should be a good "The End" type movie:

I think it should be about the Autobots with the help of their new human allies, going back to Cybertron and kickin Megatrons tail across the galaxy...as in the Autobots fighting and winning back their Home World and finding some way to re-energize and bring it back life to the planet.

I am not sure about Unicron though....but having unicron there would give a cool way to re-energize Cyberton...take Unicrons power\energy source and give it to Cybertron.

Maybe Hot Rod should also make an apearance, and a character similiar to Jazz (Personality wise) should come back...he would be a good 'Example figure' for the twins. I mean the Twins and Jazz had the same way of talking (you know, gangsta style) but Jazz was just much more of a mature soldier. He would be a good squad leader for the twins.

Anyways, yeah, main story line should not be about Human survival again like the 1st and second one. This time it should be about the future of the Autobots.

One thing I think TF2 suffered from was X-Men 3 syndrome. Too many mutants, not enough character build up.

I would want the format the first film had in terms of the number of bots on each side. Say 5 on 5 or 6 on 6 but no more than that. The more that are added, the less screen time their will be overall for a lot of them.

From there out all out war ensues. Megatron returns with only two things in mind, kill Sam and the Autobots. Enter Unicron looking to wipe out everybody.

The ONLY problem with this scenario is the good guys aligning with the bad guys to defeat a bigger problem has been done so many times before that you'd almost be content with just a WINNER TAKE ALL battle in the 3rd film rather than anything else.

It could be Los Angeles.. or New York or a bit smaller one but it must still be a big town to give the really darker, brutal and cruel feeling that the movie will need as well as having a lot of vehicle chasing scenes downtown with buildings that could change shape all of a sudden, people disappearing and getting killed inside their apartments.. and so on.. A giant evil living town used as a base by Decepticons on Earth.. and then like in the middle of the movie the town transforms in robot mode and millions get killed while militaries and Autobots try to evacuate as many humans as possible (and Pretenders among them that can't be detected).

I am also curious what would happen if a transformer got sucked up by a tornado. You have lightning, shrapnal, and 200 m/h winds. Even for a alien robot that would hurt.

like mentioned earlier, just about 5 to max 8 robots in each side. possibly add Hot Rod, Blurr, Magnus (or whatever his name was from the cartoon) for the autobots, and Galvatron, the train thing (i forogot the name) and maybe two more for Dicepticons

too many robots, means less screen time, less character development. and a new fresh 'non-rushed' (by no stike hopefully) story which goes deeper

Later i have a big ass and probably one of the best battles i wrote that takes place at NEST HQ on Diego Garcia... a lot happens here. Then lastly the end battle stars in Florida at the Kennedy space center and leads into space where we see a grand space battle. What do you guys think? There are one or two smaller fights as well but nothing big.

sounds awesome! that's what I'm talking about! thanks. I have this great vision on what would be cool to see as far as battles but also good story to tie everything together but the story also helps to push the main plot into the next battle in turn keeping the story interesting. If done right I believe both great action and good story telling can help one another out to give us one kick ass movie. Now dont get me wrong... what i have is enough to be a 3 hour movie but again if done right, i would pay to see a 3 hour movie that i can get lost in the action while having a clear idea on why everything is happening. Besides I think its about time that one of these movies be unleashed and just let everything happen. I mean if Lord of The Rings can have movie after movie that gets longer and more detailed, why not Transformers. I say the 3rd movie should be at least 3 hours long.

I kind of agree. I think there were too many decepticons in ROTF, but at the same time, it didn't bother me. I liked the first movie, where you got the 5 Autobots, and......I'm not sure how many Decepticons, but not too many, and I knew who they all were.

I liked Soundwave more this last time I re-watched the movie, so I hope they do more of him. But I don't know of any others.

I like the Autobots the most, and I would LOVE to see all of them get more screentime! I'm starting to like Ironhide more and more and he needs more time :p I just hope we get more story with the bots, and a little bit less with the humans. I like Sam in the story though, so they should keep him, but less of his parents, and I hope they don't put his roommate in #3. I somewhat liked him in this one, but not enough for him to reappear in #3.

I want to see the Decepticons win one. Catering to the audience in letting the good guys win all the time is just so typical Hollywood. I thought this one would be different, because when you name a movie like it's the revenge of the bad guys, you're kinda implying they're going to actually win this round.

This franchise needs an "Empire Strikes Back", where even though the good guys live to fight another day, it's a movie the bad guys have well and truly won. You want to have people coming out of the cinemas with shocked expressions on their faces, going "oh my god, what are they going to do, i can't wait for the next one".

It's such a powerful way to get the audience caring about the characters, and about what happens, that it's such a pity they're almost too afraid to go there. Think about it, every time you care about the heroic good guys the most, it's when bad things have happened to them. Bumblebee getting his legs shot off in the first movie, and then Prime dying in the second.

Speaking of which, they need to stop killing and resurrecting leaders too. Both Megatron and Optimus have now died and been resurrected. That's getting a bit old.

Characters like Ironhide and Ratchet deserve a lot more screentime. They are well due. Newcomers to the series like the Twins and Wheelie should have taken a back seat, rather than, for some reason, having been put centrestage. They're not characters you could come to care for anyway, because almost every time they were used for humour it was at their expense.

When I think of the fabulous new characters such as Sideswipe and Arcee that were introduced so well and then literally forgotten, it makes me shake my head. What a terrible waste.

I also really want Steve Jablonsky to once again do the score. His work is second-to-none.

I like Michael Bay as a director, I really do, nobody does the action like he does, but I do think he has too much power out there on the playing field. A lot of the stuff, like the Twins, Wheelie, Devastator's Balls, I think a lot of that is his doing.

None of that is necessarily bad, as such, and I respect MB for having the balls to do it the way he wants, but when I see silly things like that I can't help thinking about what might have been.

The Decepticons in TF1 were definitely more powerful than the Autobots in TF1. Just a general observation: in the G1 cartoons the Autobots were normally more powerful, however the Decepticons used tricks/numbers to gain control of a situation. They had the numbers in TF2, but it didn't seem like they used them to their full advantage.

when megatron, starscream and grindor killed optimus in the forest, weren't they winning at that point. things only changed when wheelie defected to the autobots and gave them an idea how to turn the tables against the decepticons.

in tf1, the decepticons were winning at the end, it's only when sam pushed the allspark into megatrons chest that made the decepticons lose.

Tbh, all i really want is the most brutal 1v1 fist-fight ever between OP and Megatron. Possibly have Megatron do something that kills a large amount of people to get OP pissed. They could be able to use their weapons too i suppose, but for a good portion of the fight, it would be awesome to see them in melee combat with minimal weaponry. That punch in the face Prime gave Megatron at the start of the forest battle was glorious.

I havent seen fantastic 4 part 2 so i cant really argue about that, but i do know michael bay could make this work. If he wants to go out with a bang he should involve unicron. I love the movie cartoon and maybe they can use the best elements from it, maybe some less robots and have it set primarely on earth(for it not to become a cgi-fest).I also want to say i kind of missed the fact that they are supposed to be robotic SOLDIERS but they dont really let it show. Like to see prime giving more specific orders to the autobots on how to handle a battle(strategy-wise andfighting positions)They are supposed to do this for a long time so it shouldnt just be attacking full frontal as you see at the end of part 2. And especially when prime dies no one really takes over as the new leader. They dont regroup and talk about it. There is not much reaction to his death.(was the same with jazz getting killed)

I'll be a realist.

I want a good balanced story.

I want less bots overall but more focus on them because lets be honest. More bots equals less overall screen time in the grand scheme of things because they are NOT GOING TO GET RID OF THE HUMANS so in the end I'd rather have a good balancing act of maybe 5 on 5 with the Autobots and Decepticons because the humans will be the vehicle that carries the story as we've seen in the Bay films. Optimus and Sam will be the focal point and Megatron and Starscream for the other side.

The comedy element will probably be there, I just hope its well balanced.

No more human characters outside of the ones already in the movie.

I am not sure about an entire plot but one thing i would love to see is a massively upgraded Megatron (Galvatron) taking on Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus (alt. mode a flat face truck ala old school Prime nod) and taking them both down, severly injuring Prime and maybe killing Magnus.
Galvatron's alt mode could be a Cybertronian bomber jet?

That pic i posted, i just used paint program to edit the bottom right megatron 2 show a possible upgrade for Megatron... Galvatron should be beastly like that I think.

Also maybe kill off a couple of major Autobots so it don't make the decepticons look weak. Possibly gives Starscream an actual air fleet say Sunstorm and a couple other F-22 Raptors. I dunno this is my first post...any thoughts on this?

TF2 was missing a lot of transformations. Like in the first one, there was soo many in the downtown battle. (Ironhide, Starscream a few times, Optimus with the epic tranformation).

Another ''In your face'' Transformation of Optimus, and have him more badass, maybe combine him with his trailor, or have tripple changers..that would be siiick!

More Sideswipe..his design is amaazing, but too bad he was forgotten too easily. Have Arcee with a lot more dialogue, and a larger role to play in the plot.

Human characters that we were introduced to in TF1 and 2 are crucial, but no more than Lennox, Tirese, Mikela, Simmons, parents...and a lot more human soldiers

There should be higher stakes to loose in a heavily populated area. When a lot of city damage occurs, it gives a sense of chaos of how much power these tranformers have

and last but definitely not least...something which MB is soo well known for doing..highway chase scene, with badass "in your face" Transformation and battle.

btw, TF1 had OP transform ''in your face'' (a quote from MB from Bluray commentary) like 4 times, but TF2 had one - in the beginning when he gets thrown down the plane.

Okay... so with the average time for a tfs movie to be about 2 and 1/2 hours, it seems that it is still not enough time to flesh out the movie with enough fights and good story telling to keep everyone's attention.

Here is what i think...
Bay needa a buget large enough that he can make both tfs 3 and 4 together and release them much like they did with Matrix 2 and 3. some say 2 and 1/2 hours is too long and just want a fight to the death kind of movie and screw the story. As others want good story to go along with the fights. Both are great but with the history behind TFs and with so much to pull from in order to make a given TFs movie i say make the next movie a two parter. Make each part 2 hours long so to not have people bitch that its to long and drawn out but just long enough to give the viwers some good action and story without having to cram and rush things... (why?) because there will still be a second 2 hour part relased some time later to continue where the first part left off and finish the 4 hour story without having to rush and cram. This way everyone gets to see in essence 1 movie with everything from action to good story telling but in 2 parts. We win... Dreamworks and Hasbro wins because they get to make and sell product from 1 movie that is really 2 and this way more bots can be introduced in the second part where there was no room in the first part. What do you gys think?

7. place for fight new york or washington destroy a major city in the fight for earths survival
8. i want to see clean cut sides.... bots vs cons op and rod leading the autobots no repaints, vs megs and galve and dcons no repaints.....
9. make the lead up to the final battle something with substance they want to rebuild a cybertron heres earth.....

Filming back to back is a good idea. An idea that was used while filming Pirates of the Caribbean. However, release date-wise, the films would need to be a padded amount of time apart. Otherwise it tends to become overkill. It's kind of nice to have the anticipation that makes you desire the next part. :rolleyes:

i think michael bay avoided the lost world syndrome. jurassic park is a classic but the lost world was a mess because people know what to expect, so they lost their fascination with dinosaurs. michael bay made roft in a way that people will still be fascinated with giant talking robots.

So why cant 3 be a two part movie just to give everyone more story and action without having to cram everything into one movie? I say everyone would win on this idea. The fans, Hasbro, the film studios, Bay and everyone else invalved. We get to see more Transformers. The studios and thaters get to dubble dip by making money off of one movie that really is two. Bay gets paid to make two movies back to back so he really is only making one movie. Just working a bit longer. He also makes more money this way. And dont forget Hasbro... shit... they get to dubble dip as well. By having two parts to this movie, that would leave more room to introduce more (BOTS) and more bots means more toys and product they can make and sell.

Keeping it away from everyone he puts it into his backpack.Galvatron quikly finds the location from Starscream. Galvatron lands there and blast the place up, Max still uharmed escapes from the jail and runs. Soon enough Skids,Mudflap,Opimus Prime and Ironhide show up. Optmius orders Skids to escort Max to a safe place. When they arrive Max takes out the Cyber Key and shows it to Skids and Skids takes it and goes to Optimus Prime and shows him. Optimus Prime takes it. Meanwhile, back with Sam and Makeala and wheelie and leo at college. Wheelie gets a message from Optimus Prime , he tells Bummblebee and they go to Optimus Prime with Sam and Maekela and Leo and Wheelie. Optimus gives the Cyber Key to Sam and Meakalea to protect. I think that TF:3 has a pretty simple plot line suggested from TF:1 and TF: ROTF, which is a pissed off and bitter Megatron. Not only did he get wiped by a kid in #1 and rocked by Prime on two different occasions in ROTF, but his mentor/master, the Fallen, ended up getting split in fantastic fashion by Prime [a la Jazz v. Megatron in #1].

If you ask me, anyone who is supposed to be as powerful as Megs would be enraged by the way his time on Earth has played out. I think it's time for him to throw his calculated reasoning [the Allspark and the Matrix] out the window and just stick to trying to destroy the Autobots, Sam and everyone/thing else that has rendered him nothing more than blip on Earth's wars. I figure at the end of #3, he could stumble across something that could lend itself to a plot line in #4, such as the Key mentioned in the posts above or some energon source previously unknown. I'd love to hear a Megs/Optimus conversation where Optimus asks why Megs is still coming to Earth and Megs just says something like, "To destroy it." Anyways, just my thoughts, hope it helps!

In Transformers 4, Unicron is slowly taking over planet Earth. Optimus Prime fly's up to Unicron and trys to destroy him but kicks him back down to Earth, killing him. Max and Sam and Leo and Mikaela go up in space with Bummblebee and Ironhide,Skids,Mudflap and Rachet .Wheelie tells Sam that if he stuck the Cyber Key in Unicron then it makes a sacrifice that brings The Dynasty of Primes back to life. Sam,Leo,wheelie and Max get inside of Unicron to try and find the hole to stick the key in. Meanwhile, The autobots are dying slowly,First arrcee then skids and mudflap. Unicron finishes off Ironhide and bummblebee. Sam and Leo and Wheelie still cannot find the hole. Unicron summons Soundwave to come and go inside him and destroy them and destroy the key. Soundwave comes in and Wheelie fights Soundwave leaving the boys to go and find the key hole. Soundwave kills Wheelie and runs after them. They find the key hole and put in the key to find that its not working. Soundwave catches up with them and blast them and as soon as the blast is about to hit the boys Vector Prime jumps in front of them and takes the shot unharming him. He then kills Soundwave. Meanwhile back outside Unicron is not dead but merily injured. The 12 destroy Unicron and since the key brought the primes back alive it also brought back the Fallen. They all destroy the Fallen and tell Sam that he will grant him one wish and he wishes for all the Autobots to be resurected including former decepticons that became autobots.Then Jazz,Ironhide,Optimus Prime,Bummblebee,Arccee,Rachet,Sideswipe and the rest have a Autobot reunion. And then the war is over

Tell me you all wouldn't be stoked to see Ratchet working on a bot on a medical table and when Sam asks what he's doing, he says, "There, finished, I hope this works." Then Jazz hoping off the table and scanning a Porsche. I'd be stoked.

This is the way I see it going down. Introducing all of the new autobots and dcons fully and just kind of letting each of them have a considerable amount of screen time. Either traveling as pairs or going off solo. I figure the third film should be more one on one or two on two rather than all out wars between the two sides. I think it would add some depth to the characters.

- Starscream finally making his move against Megs (post earth fight so Megatron as you know is messed up).
- Megatron upgraded to Galvatron (either you could have Unicron do it OR by his most loyal followers / possibly Soundwave and Shockwave)
- Galvatron killing Starscream BRUTALLY and Starscreams air crew, say Sunstorm, Thundercracker and another Decepticon all who are F-22 Raptors, swearing their allegiance to almighty Galvatron.
- The highlight fight = Galvatron vs Optimus Prime & Ultra Magnus (After putting up a good fight, Optimus is rendered unconcious and Magnus is killed just because Galvatron is too strong, no sneaking up in this fight :D)
- Have a couple of key Autobots actually get beaten in a fight, maybe even killed :/ lol I mean seriously, don't make the Decepticons look so weak!
- Have a few city's annihilated by Decepticons, mostly Galvatron when he goes bazerk!
-POSSIBLY have Galvatron go insane like he does and becomes a threat to Decepticons and Autobots and in their last fight, Optimus (possibly) with the Matrix? cures Galvatron of his madness just as he is about to kill Prime. He then announces his name as Megatron once more (keeping his upgraded body however) and calls a temporary truce with Prime to stop Unicron who not only want the planet earth dead which Galvatron doesn't care about but want EVERYTHING including all the Transformers dead?

transformers in a deathmatch inside a coliseum, that's a cool idea.

Thinking about it, I think 3 is an ideal opportunity to steal a plot from the early days of the comic. Where a very powerful Shockwave makes his debut and is pissed at the way Megatron is handling things and vies for control .

They could expand on this by giving Shockwave his own band of followers leading to a split in the Decepticon ranks. Perhaps leaving Prime with no choice but to inadvertantly lend Megatron a helping hand by stopping Shockwave.

I dunno, just want something more grounded next time, we've had the ancient mystical threat. And I really don't want to see Unicron for ages yet.
