Mike Newell is the director of Prince of Persia.
I would have been more happy if it Michael had done, instead Transformers 2. What do you think?

Persian guys in baggy trousers, or giant f***ing robots? How could Michael have possibly decided on TF2?!

Apparently, I'm going the same route as MitP and Michael. Robots beat persians. :D

I just find it funny that you have a problem with Prince of Persia move and your avatar is a the King of Sparta ;)

I would've liked him to do both. Not sure how serious he ever got with Persia, though.

I'm glad he's making Transformers 2. I'm not a big videogame-guy so I barely know what the hell Prince of Persia is.

Never played a Prince Of Persia game and I never plan to so I don't mind Mike not directing the movie. I tend to hate games though I do have a PS3, but that's just there for Street Fighter, first person shooters and football. Yeah, last time I turned the damn thing on was like a month ago.
But hey, a video game movie not directed by Uwe Boll, this might turn out good for once.

Prince of Persia could have been an Amazing movie, the combats and the humor are great, IMO perfect for Bay.
But now with Newell... it will be so bad as his Harry Potter movie.

With disney behind this, i think this will be a great film. it was a great game, i mean a great game, for real. This will set the standard for video game movies mark my words!!
