If you don't like the new dark look and feel (and thus prefer something lighter):
1. Go to your User Control Panel (User-CP) and go to "Edit Options." Scroll down and...
2.- Got to "Miscellaneous Options" and then use the drop down menu and...
3.- Select "New-White" as your skin and click on the Save Changes" button.
Voila!

There is a drop down selector right at the bottom left of the forum. I prefer the white personally.

Only thing I do not like about any forum software is the various icons related to threads. I mean it would be simpler if they just added 2 icons, one which resembled no new posts, and one that did resemble new posts, a sort of red vs green thing. :p

an easier way, you can just go to the bottom of the home page, and click it to go to new page white..
just thought id point that out.
how come it doesn't let us edit after a while?

I changed over to white but I may change back over to the dark version because this one has grey type, which is not working for my eyeballs.
I also miss the main logo being a link that routed you back to the board's main page.
It also took me a while to find the New Posts button under search but I did find it.

I like the new look but i think the icons are horrible, they don't fit the general desing. It makes me think is not 100% ready.

Unfortunately with this new board the top left is just plain text.
But you still have the http://www.shootfortheedit.com/forum/iSkin/misc/nav_home.gif to go back and the hierarchy thing.

One problem I have is in my profile page and on the member list, the page numbers at the bottom of the screen aren't cut down to keep the page size. It's like a very long line of numbers going across the screen and it's annoying.

I'm sure he will like it!!
The only complaint i have about the design is that most of the smilies are also in grey. I think they should mantain the original yellow color.

I currently have the forum skin as white, but for some reason when for example I go to the link below it is by 'default' set to the black skin, any chance my choice could be overridden so the white skin shows in every forum / subforum etc.
