Except their posts aren't very coherent with the topic of discussion. Look at forfun in one of Celtic's Hot chick vs. hot chick threads. Noticed that he (it) only says "OMFG they're so hot!!11" Yeah....

At least they come up with mostly entertaining subjects, lol. Much more fun then just spambots that spam a URL and only a URL.

What is a spam bot?
A code design by people that takes the form of a typical forum poster and uses that to advertise products. For example, a lot of spam bots we have here contain links in their sigs to DVD websites. They talk about movies on this forum to get us interested in clicking one of their links in their sigs. Hasn't worked on me yet.

im not seeing an advertising spammer, it just looks like a regular person. they might just post up uninteresting threads but they look harmless. What should really be looked out for is the programs that show up and flood the board with bad links. But I doubt that will happen here because of the registration log in stuff, the multi choise question or haveing a
re-captia are both good ways to control having non human entities from registering.

I don't think they qualify as spambots. The person has had some dialogue.
