I want to put a picture as my signature but how do i do that?

I never realized that...I just recycled a sig I used on another forum, as I couldn't think of anything better. Ah well...the old UBB Boards I posted on years ago was like that, so no worries =)

Yeah Nelson doesn't want big fat images in every other person's post cluttering up the forum. Think of how long that would take to load on a dial up connection (which I have right now).

I think it's more because most people don't know shit about design... so all those ugly sig images would make this forum ugly as hell (or even uglier than it already is). Loading times shouldn't be an issue today...

People get carried away with signatures. I have seen various message boards where people have 2-3 images all stacked up one after the other like the Eiffel Tower at about 250kb each or even worse if they are all animated gifs (I am sure some people would post them with parts from TF1 or the new trailer), if they were allowed it would only mean additional moderation from nelson removing all heavy bandwidth images. So it is just best they remain forbidden.

People can annoying with text, too...For example (http://www.wolfquest.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=20115#p706464).
Most boards give you the option to turn signatures off, which you'd have to do in places where they let people have those elaborate animated ones if you are on dialup. Hahah...I just noticed I can turn off the word censoring on that board...I wonder if the admins know that since so many kids post there...
