I just hope Bay makes a directors cut down the road and adds all the stuff that will be cut and not make it into the 147 minute version;)

Maybe they cut it down to 147 minutes so people don't have to use the restroom during half the movie. Wouldn't wanna miss the action!

Okay I am bad. :o

so since he knows the exact runtime does this mean that the movie is complete? that just doesn't seem right...

Only 70ish days to go. I'd expect for it to be done by now. Or within the next 10days max.

I think this means that the actual editing of the movie is done and all that's left is the rest of the CGI (and maybe additional voice work) and finally sound-effects and music.

Mr.Bay posted a message telling that he doesn't have a Twitter account, so the claimed 147minutes final editing runtime it's a fake:

Actually, the 147 minute running time was reported by Mtv, who recieved the info directly from Bay.

It doesn't mean that the movie is complete.... it only means that they know that it will last that long!!! they're probably still editing, but it's a normal thing to assume the running time ahead...

Michael said something similar before, about being in the editing stages still, but the running time being 2 hours +... so he's just being consistent with what he already said. :D

Sweeeeet. At least we know the Blu-ray will definitely be out this year. The whole format war was really upsetting last time. Hopefully we will see an extended cut.

So 2 hours and 27 min - 6 min of credits = 2 hours 21 min of giant f*cking robots fighting. AWESOME
