I know everyone on here is anticipating the Transformers 2 movie. I also know that a lot of people have their own ideas for what Autobots and Decepticons they would like to see. Yeah I know, I was saying Jetfire and Springer are the only two Autobot flyers worth having, unlike Powerglide and Cosmos. And if you have one Aerialbot, you kinda have to have them all, which is overkill.

Not entirely true - there was Bonecrusher in the first movie and the rest of the Constructicons weren't there... so having one (or how many) Aerialbot wouldn't be weird.

I really don't know what to think about the second movie or what/who I would like to really see. I do get the feeling something like the Quintessons theme may be possible - the Autobots/Decepticons have creators - creatures who created the cube that gave them life. Throwing the idea out there, doesn't seem like anyone has suggested that (someone may have, haven't had a great deal of time to read many posts lately).

I just saw transformers the movie (1986) yesterday for the second time in my life. I was 7 when I first saw it, and when I saw it again some of it started comeing back to me. I hope they won't try to cram to much into the movie like the Spider man 3 people did. I think it should just have few new robots Like the junk robots. They would bring lots of humor to the movie, and they ride motobots as well as transform into them too.

soundwave as armour vehicle, ravage as the tyre, laserbeak ejects out of the stereo , sound wave waves his hand over the head piece of each one and can display in his optics what they record...

It would be nice to see a battle on the Moon with the earth in the background between decepticons soundwave, starscream and autobots, new ones that arent in TF.... ?? they could throw out one into space (starscream) and he flees , or shoot a decepticon arm off that ends up floating in space then landing on earth... NASA could retrieve it and it goes to sec7 which then alerts the autobots that more decepticons are arriving


I think it would be nice, to see like that sort of battle, moon jumps with particles of the moon sweep up when they impact , could even show the whole decepticon land all the way to earth after being punched out by autobots introducing the new autobots to optimus..??

i think it should be sparkplug. maybe while in the middle of a battle between Prime and Megs/SS. he's died in the comics. it would be interesting to see if sam will blame optimus prime for this and how he would also react to his father's death. and since bay wants the movie to revolve around the human characters, i think this would fit in nicely to keep the movie centralised to sam.

As much as I loved the G-1 cartoon, I really hated Unicron and Galvatron. Unicron just sucked and I will not see the 2nd or 3rd movies if he's in it. And I always loved Megatron as he was. The big bad guy who never had to take crap from anyone. He was always giving the orders. But then came Unicron and well you know the rest. Besides I think Bay kind of allready sort of did the Galvatron thing. I mean Megatron is Megatron in the 2007 movie but he transformes into the jet just like Galvatron did. Isnt that good enough. I say leave Megatron as is and PLEASE no Unicron!!!!!

You do make a vaild point. I would love to see Megatron come back. Soundwave could always come along and repair him using earth technology. E.g. maybe using a top secret Fusion cannon and attaching it to his arm.
That way it could make all the G-1 fans happy and he could also use his 2007 jet parts to fly around in his normal mode (like he did in G-1). If Micheal wanted to go that way he could also use Megatron orignal voice, as his vocal processer was dammaged.

Here's another idea. I saw an old epsoide when a US Senator sides with Megatron. I would love to see a human interacting with the deceptacons more offten. Not enough of Megatron and Starscream vurbal bashing in number in T1.

My idea for the Transformers sequel: make that plane that left the Earth at the very end of the movie return as the last Space Shuttle which is planned to be retired in 2009. Just imagine, it captures the Shuttle right before the atmosphere reentry, then flies all the way to the Kennedy Space Center in a usual, well-known manner and according to all normal ground procedures. And here it comes as everyone is watching, commenting and greeting the last successful Shuttle flight in the history. Then right at the main gear touch down, it transforms into a two-feet alien robot! Then you can do whatever you want - destroy the Vehicle Assembly Building, for example. Wouldn’t that be a cool and realistic landing?!

It is fast as hell and would make a nice addition to a decepticon force rip with Military craft. Not to mention they can use the idea from the G2 Dark Wing Stealth toy. That is to this day one of my favorite toys of the transformers.

I've thought about the F35 a bit too and the problem is, it just isn't cool. I know its performance stats and all, but at the end of the day, it looks a little blocky and primitive. It doesn't have the look of power and menace that you get with the F22. Plus, it's small and Jetfire ought to be a fairly tall bloke, which is why I suggested the old SR71 Blackbird spy plane, which is huge, devastatingly fast, and very, very cool.

I am too serious about this stuff. No idea why. Outside this forum I'm a very normal fellow. Anyway, I think a space shuttle could be a very cool element at the beginning of the film to introduce a new wave of TFs. The shuttle could obviously be Astrotrain for the Decepticons (or Cosmos for the Autobots), and be full of TF refugees from another planet.

Title: Transformers 2: Countdown to Megadeath/ The Megadeath Plot/ The Megadeath Conspiracy

Starscream, a Megatron loyalist, locates and hails Shockwave who, upon learning of Megs demise, assumes command over the Decep camp.

Starscream, thinking Megs is FUBAR for good, accepts the change in command: he's game for as long as he gets to bring Megs plan to completion, namely for the Deceps to take over Earth and ultimately the universe.

The Decep camp plots ways to harvest Earth's energy sources to help achieve this ambition. Shockwave, a cold and brutal military operations commander, plans to wipe out, or at least weaken, military forces on Earth by creating a chain of nuclear disasters.

In the meantime, Optimus Prime has hidden the All Spark fragment and his team has been reinforced by an additional Autobot who received and responded to his call.

All is peaches and cream with the Bot camp, except... they are being spied on by Soundwave.

Soundwave, after having detected the presence of both camps on Earth, has dispatched his minions as soon as he set foot to gather information to find out about... the presence of the All Spark fragment.

Soundwave contacts the Decep camp, but of course not without sending in his minions first for reconnaissance. He learns about Megs fate and about Shock and the plan.

Starscream by chance detects a Soundwave minion, from which he extracts information and learns about the All Spark fragment... Megs can now be resurrected!

Soundwave reports to Shock, the new Decep commander. Shock of course doesn't like what he hears. Starscream, in the meantime, sees this as a chance to bring back Megs, a thought which Soundwave backs.

Arguments ensue...

One or two Deceps back Shock, and the Decep camp fragments.

Soundwave recognizes the danger internal striving presents to their camp. He sees only one way out: oust Shock, reinstate Megs as leader.

But to reinstate Megs they, Soundwave and Starscream, need first to resurrect him using the All Spark fragment, which is in possession of the enemy.

They device a scheme: Soundwave will leak Shock's plan to the Bots, but will only provide full details in exchange for Megs.

Prime and co learn of the plan and are next approached by Sound and Scream. It is concluded that there is no other way than to initiate a temporary, uneasy truce between the two camps and to face Shock as one.

As for the Autobots, anything that can thwart Shock's plan is worth doing...

Megs is resurrected and battles side by side with Prime and co to beat Shock, thwart his evil plan, and reclaim leadership over the Deceps.

Yours is the first post that I've seen that I agree with Mirage's form. I really like the idea of him being a blue Ford GT with white stripes like his Alternator form. I never was a big fan of Hot Rod, but as a Saleen S7 he would definitely be a cool addition. Other Autobots that I'd also personally like to see: Sideswipe: Red Viper SRT-10 Convertible, Sunstreaker: Yellow Viper SRT-10 with White Stripes, Hound: Some sort of Jeep (may need to be bigger than a Wrangler). Ravage as a Black Jaguar XK that transforms into a huge Black Cat robot (I'm not sure, is he a Jaguar or a Panther?) would be pretty cool as well.

As you can probably tell, I'm a big fan of the Alternator series.... But I'm an even bigger fan of the G1 toys since I grew up with them. Hound was my very first Transformer, so that's why I like him. Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, and Mirage were my favorites that didn't make in into the first movie.

I'd like to see a Transformer aerial battle. Planes, helicopters, anything dogfighting and transforming and leaping around rooftops or canyons or something. Starscream, Blitzwing, and Skywarp vs. Jetfire, Springer, and, uhm, let's say Powerglide...No, Cosmos...No, shoot, the Autobot flyers stink....

Here's the prototype for the latest Transformers Universe Powerglide, which is going to be an Ultra Class toy. I agree that the original Powerglide design kind of sucked, but he might not 'stink' as bad if the new movie Powerglide character were somewhat based on this design...

I was wondering, if there are cars robots, won't they have to turn into GM vehicles? (unless they modify them to prevent the logos from being seen like Barricade who was a Saleen Mustang)

Ultra Magnus-turns into a more aerodynamic looking truck to distinguish him better from Prime
Arcee-motorcycle or sports car, either way she has to be awesome
A small Autobot- The 'cons had Frenzy, now it's the Autobots turn!
Jetfire-a cool jet, enough said
More cars characters-there were more autobot trucks (Prime, Ironhide, Ratchet) than cars (Bumblebee and jazz) in the first and we need to balance it out for TF2
Some elder Autobot-Maybe Kup?

More jets-maybe Thundercracker and Skywarp?
Soundwave-a tricked out Humvee with a huge-ass sound system
Shockwave-???(he was killed by Prime in the Transformers video game so I don't know how this would work out)

I am too serious about this stuff. No idea why. Outside this forum I'm a very normal fellow. Anyway, I think a space shuttle could be a very cool element at the beginning of the film to introduce a new wave of TFs. The shuttle could obviously be Astrotrain for the Decepticons (or Cosmos for the Autobots), and be full of TF refugees from another planet.

I don't see anywhere in that thread where people get banned for giving their ideas about a robot cast list. I do recall in the rules of the forum that you are not allowed ask Michael for a job. Theres other rules as well. I don't believe your own ideas are one of them though.

Well I asked nelson if I could post a robot cast list with notes on their design, and he said no, so I am kind of confused here. Does it mean I can post a robot cast list, but with no notes, or just I'm not allowed to post it at all.
