Hey all I was listening to a song called Industrial Revolution by Immortal Technique and noticed that Starscream was mentioned, so I thought I'd post a few lines from it.

Immortal Technique stuck in your thoughts darkening dreams
no ones as good as me, they just got better marketing schemes
I leave you to your own destruction like sparking a fiend
'cause you got jealousy in you voice like Starscream

Theres also a song called Daydreamin' by someone called Lupe Fiasco and he mentions the Transformers:

As I spy from behind my giant robot's eyes
I keep him happy 'cause I might fall out if he cries
Scared of heights so I might pass out if he flies
Keep him on autopilot 'cause I can't drive
Room enough for one I tell my homies they can't ride
Unless they sittin on the shoulders but that's way too high
Let's try not to step on the children
The news cameras filmin
This walkin project buildin

By the way, I think the song is trash

n*gger this, f*ggot that.

Edit: on second listen, it's not that bad, but I still don't condone it.

the second song ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDf7IeUgR8A ) is a little more decent but still not my kind of music. but at least it's positive... I think... don't quote me on that.

With all respect you're entitled to your own opinion. I do agree that there is no need to curse or to have the use of the word 'nigga' in songs, however it's the end product which is what one should notice, the message from the song, the truth in the lyrics, things the media wouldn't tell you :)

DMX mentions Optimus Prime and says rollout as a TF reference in "Get At Me Dog"
Krizz Kaliko has the transforming sound from the 80s cartoon at the end of the track "Rewind" leading into the track "Beautiful You Are"

there's a band called the Galvatrons
also there's a CD at my radio station's library about Super Villains with an image of Megatron on the cover and a song with Galvatron in the title.

The use of this language has been going on for years and is ingrained in the culture it takes time to for someone to stop using it.

transformers is often referenced in hip hop. just do a google search of the two and you'll see. I think gza and rza(members of the wu-tang clan) both did a song about them.
