I got to say I went to go see it on friday the 13th... There was a freaking line all the way outside the theatre... I was so dissapointed. My cousin has always been a freddy fan But I grew up watching jason do his thing in driv-ins as a kid. so now I'm going this weekend second week to help this guy slash the horror competition down to size.
I'm sure you have all heard friday the 13th just broke box office record and has become the highest box office opener for a horror movie. I think halloween used to hold the title, not sure bout that though.

Yes all the F13 movies have been cashcows so far especially the original classic.

Thats why you pre buy the tickets at least three days before the movie premieres.
The movie looks good. Bay has brought his style together and produced a really good movie.
Its not down to him how the movie is directed, or should there of been a remake. He was just hired as a producer. And he really does produce

Actually although the original was a cashcow... The new one actually broke box office records so it's making all the money now. but your point is taken...
Oh and exsubs... I just movedto fargo, cinema is not a big deal here. there is one real theater in town, thats it. and its not one of those theatres that has all the newest movies. actually most of the responses I got was eeehhhh I probably wont go see it. apparently you were right though and pre ordered.

I did that, and there was even line at the ticket printing machine!
