"Megatron is dead, and the Autobots now live on earth in peace. However, in a distant galaxy, Starscream has declared himself the new leader of the Decepticons, which angers those loyal to Megatron, particularly Soundwave. Soundwave, who is able to give life back to fallen robotic organisms, leads his own band of Decepticons to earth to resurrect Megatron. To make matters worse, Starscream has heard of an energy source birthed from the Allspark by Sector 7, and he leads his own band to earth as well to take that source of energy. I mean its a good plot in my mind but im not going to stick with that theory because they also posted the crap about maximum prime and thats not going to happen. So in other words, I still think its too early?

Sounds really cool. We now have three group of transformers=more robots=more fun :)
I just hope it doesn't turn out to be a movie of the feelings of the poor members of sector 7, or more about Sam and Mikaela and their relationship... I hope they have more segments of robots talking and planning...

WOW!! that dose sound cool. It sounds like it fits very well with the first movie. I was kinda think'n that some one would find away to bring back Megatron. Who?, how?, and why? I don't know.

It's a fake, the whole thing's too neat. Megatron's dead so Soundwave suddenly has Jesus powers? Too neatly tied up there, and too easy.

A. Maybe they scrapped Jazz after he was destroyed.
B. If the actual script contains the Creation Matrix, maybe Prime didn't know he had it.

Might just be me but when Prime says he will sacrifice himself with the allspark he opens his chest. For a brief moment his 'spark' looks like the autobot matrix of leadership. Which would make sence that primes spark has partly merged with it.

Assuming the script is at least partly true then prime (now in G1 colours if based on the toy and newly rebuilt Jazz in g1 colours) should be alot more wiser and able. I`m not going to hold my breath thou until i see the film in 2009.

you guys forgot something, after sam put the allspark into megatrons chest a little triangular peice of the all spark remained... could be something to do with the creation matrix? An easy way of writing that portion of it into the script anyways. Just thinkin outloud more than anything

At first I thought he crushed it. Then I watched the dvd and he just held it.

If that big ass box could miniaturize then a piece could do something.

Ok let me see if I can put this in a way that it sounds good. The Matrix is the life force that gives Transformers a soul and it is passed down and can only be used by a Prime. Your right jazz would be back except the all spark is gone. The Allspark creates transformers as you seen in the first movie with the cell phone and the xbox 360 an so on. But those transformers all had no souls. The Matrix is then used to give a soul and from there it depends on if it becomes Autobot or Desepticon. The Matrix as fare as I know is in Primes chest. I can almost say for sure that good old Jazz will return in TF2. Dont worry be happy:D

I read that summary as well, and I honestly didn't know what to think of it. I've learned to take IMDB with a grain of salt these days. That site reminds of Wikipedia where anyone can add anything to the site. So, I'm very cautious about new stuff that's still in the early development process.

I hope the sequel is less "epic war" and more about personal vendettas, one-on-one duels with lots of backstory and character development. Starscream vs Jetfire, Grimlock vs Optimus, Bumblebee vs someone fomr his past...

Yeah Siwel, I'd have to agree with you there on that one. The writers where trying to mix it up a bit too much like with going new with robot design but some how forgetting to write in some kind of robot character development. One on One duels with a more even match-up would be better but I think this sequel should focus on just how menacing the decepticons really are. You get the sense or at least i did from the first movie that the Autobots kick ass and the Decepticons arn't really that powerful at all.

Good call Daharan, maybe in the sequel Starscream will round up a new squad who try to hunt down the Autobots individually, so they can showcase the Decepticons winning a bit more. Maybe the Decepticons convince some bad guy humans to help them out.
