not so fast.we saw transformers in hd on satellite yesterday.my wife misses the car more than me.So she agreed when things get back to normal.We are going to get another mustang.Hopefully a 2005 saleen used.Then back to barricade.....kinda get both.and be on both factions.Im crossin my fingers.

wow man you got a new project now. heck it looks like its in good shape for a movie clone..all beat up and rusted and ready to go. and the front chin spoiler is the only missing peice to a good start..heck man for now I would mask it off and just blast it with some yellow out of a can do one panel at a time..then stripe it..and then wax it with nufinish car polish lol.. you would probably get the same results as the faded finish from the movie BB. How do I know? I did the same with my 78 Rally Sport..

now you just gotta find some old used cragers :D

383 stroker some day,i hope.maybe a new 6-speed.some day soon ill start buying parts like block first,then crank,pistons,etc.ill have one of my uncles help me slap it together.i just realized after the head gasket and head replacement,the tranny slips and leaks alot.its making the rrrrrrrr sound when shifting.im gonna have a friend rebuild it.right now its getting its front clip disassembled.i wanna pull the whole engine and tranny out.put a one-piece oil pan gasket and timing chain gaskets new and repaint the engine yellow.my biggest concern is drivability first and cosmetics last.i want a leak free dependable car first.i love this car!i miss my barricade.:)/:(

I had a '76 that was damn near perfect. I had a 350 with about 300bhp and a turbo 350 racing setup trans. The front twisted with so much power it lifted the left wheel off the ground. Here are the only photos I have left of it.

sam,i am painting it the same colors as the new bumblebee.r-type gave me the color codes.but for now the tranny is yelling in first,so blown tranny.i just yanked out the interior carpet to remove rat poo and asess the floor pans.ill post in the morning.meggie,i always park half-assed.:rolleyes:dont ya miss the 76 devastator?

i cleaned with super clean,a scuff pad and a bucket drenched in dawn soap.then i wiped and painted with rustoleum.i wanted to use rust bullet ,but at 130.00 a gallon.these were 8.93 quart.i hope it lasts a while.

I blew my transmission about two weeks ago and had to wait to get enough for a rebuild kit and my friend rebuilt it for me.i painted it orange because I had no silver.The car has been painted black in the engine compartment and the engine was taken out,cleaned, regasketed the oil pan,and painted.My son and wife helped me too.I think I broke my hand loading the transmission,so i am bummed.I gotta go to the doctors in the morning.It ached all night.Ithappened yesterday and I waited till I got my car assembled before I wind up getting a cast.BUMBLEBEATER IS ON ITS WAY!
