They had a great episode of Southpark tonight.
They just had to to take a jab at Bay. But it was funny.
Anyone else see it?

:D

I saw.
"those aren't ideas, those are special effects!" --Army guy
"....I don't know the difference." --Bay
"we KNOW you don't. GET HIM OUT OF HERE" --Army guy

I wonder if Michael saw that cuz that's something he could probably get a decent laugh out of if he doesn't take it too seriously.

That was similar to a previous episode where Cartman is trying to get invited to Kyle's birthday party by being nice. He goes over to Kyle's house in a sweater and it went like this:

Kyle: That's not being nice. That's just putting on a nice sweater.
Cartman: I don't understand the difference.
Kyle: I know you don't. [shuts door]

But those guys probably give a little more respect to him after he made Transformers unless they have the same opinion about Transformers like they have about all his other films.

A question, though. I know that the first 'idea' that he suggested regarding the CGI building and the meteor was a reference to Armageddon, but which of his movies was the 18-wheeler spinning out of control and exploding a reference to, if any? It's definitely not Armageddon or Pearl Harbor cuz those don't have car chases. And I know it's not The Rock, The Island, or Transformers cuz I just watched those recently. Is it one of the Bad Boys?

I seriously doubt that they liked Transformers :D But I remember hearing them say that action movies in general are ridiculous and easy to make fun of. As for Bay on South Park, yeah, kinda whimsical, but there are better ways to make fun of Bay then that. Especially since Bay himself is not that VFX-crazy, and that was the whole point of that scene.
