Transformers will gross at least $700m worldwide in a few days or by this weekend. Congrats!

ya the fifth worldwide is a nice opening considering that this was the first transformers movie and it didnt open up close to the amount of screens as spider-man, shrek, harry potter and pirates.

About half of the screens, 4,050 was Transformers widest release so all in all it did extremely well.

imagine what the sequel is going to rack in....especially since EVERYONE loved the movie.....not like Spider-Man 3 where everyone went in excited, and ?EVERYONE and their mother went to see it, only to leave with a HORRIBLE taste in their mouth. Personally, if there is another Spider-Man movie, I hope nobody creatively involved in the first 3 are involved again.

Same here. I don't know anyone that liked Spidey 3 and only a handful of people that liked Pirates 3.
Transformers 2 is going to rack in so much.

$700m is huge, and yes, the second movie will much likely make even more.

Ya seriously, you know that TF2 is going to open up in more screens not only domestically but also internationally so I think it might push the $500mil mark internationally and beat out $320mil domestically.
