I'd seen that some fans have made theirs and posted them on Youtube so I thought I made as well try to make one (just for the fun of it). Some of my concerns about the other ones was that they focused a bit too much on action and that is always had some inappropriate Rap/Hiphop/Death Metal song in the background. I made it just for fun, and it was really fun to make :p Some half-ass edits here and there but overall I'm pretty pleased with it. It's some of my favourite shots and scenes in Bay's 7 movies edited together in a geeky manner.

Take a look please, and feel free to comment. Except if you feel it's completely atrocious and annoyingly poorly edited :p

Points for using some of the scores.
Money shots galore!(and not just the action ones) I enjoyed it.
Could've used a little trimming here and there, but that's about it. It still flowed nicely.

Yea man, great job i loved it. One of the only Bay tributes on youtube i've sat all the way through, because, as you said, they ruin them with the music they use, when obviously they should use the film's scores. I will say as the end i was hoping you'd use the "A Michael Bay Film" card from the end credits of Trans. Very well done.

WOO HOO!! That is the best Bay tribute that I've seen!! Awesome! The editing put together with the music was perfect!! 10/10 is my rating!! (By the way, how did you get the music from the Transformers movie? I wanna get it!)

Nice.. I like the way you put it together where it showed a bit of an intro music with intro scenes, and then towards the middle having the almost matrix type battle music with all of the destruction that was occurring only to follow it up with majestic music to show the heroic acts and gratitudes that were received in the movies. I was curious, with the movie "The Rock", it had subtitles on it. Was that German? Just curious.

Hi, the job is great, I like it, but... I think that you can do a better editing if you use the music in a better way...
Most of the time, the score is made after the editing, so this is the composer who create music rythm with the images... In this case, you have to do the same (but invert) : create editing rythm with the music... Maybe you can watch some movie trailers or music videos to find some examples.
I don't know if my message is clear, I'm French and I doubt that my english is good...

you should do a follow up that includes some of his best dialouge, and include the "a film by Michael Bay" card from the Trans. credits
Not to shabby. Maybe more video of Bay actually directing or interviews to go along with all those great shots.

I agree with vincent that the editing could use a tweak to better incorporate the music, but still a damn fine job. As far as director tributes go, that was one of the best.

The last piece of music is "My Name Is Lincoln" from The Island. The other two are "Scorponok" and "Arrival To Earth" from Transformers.
Thanks guys! :)
