Dose anyone remember G-1 Barricade?

Barricade first featured in 1990 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1990) as part of a Decepticon race track (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_track) patrol team, his vehicle mode being a Formula One (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formula_One) racing car (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racing_car).
Barricade learned how to take care of himself while running with Cybertron's most vicious racing gangs, and he brings that same brutal edge to his position as leader of the Race Track Patrol. His troops know that the slightest mistake will result in a merciless dressing down in front of the others, and they strive to meet his exacting standards. His hard-nosed, abusive leadership style doesn't do much for morale, but he figures it's for their own good.

The reason I ask is because the dumb asses over at IMDb's bords seem to think he was made up just for the movie and he's not a real Decepticon. I on the other hand would like to see him for a bit scan into his G-1 race car form to compete in a formula one race just for shits and grins. He would then get beat by a human race car, get pissed, transform and shot the hell out of the other cars. Then throw one or two into the stands as people run and scream:D

Something tells me that TF2 is gonna be more G1-ish than the first.

Hes really mad because they took the toy character from G.I. Joe and painted his uniform black and resold himas Moah deeb from Dune.see his 80's stylish'combed to the side'hair-doo.LOL!!
