What will the budget be for TF2? I am thinking that the budget will be like $185 million considering that there will be more transformer movies to come so they need to gradually increase the budget as they go.

Ya im also thinking maybe $200 seems more accurate because of the fact that transformers 1 did make over $700mil. hard to imagine.

So far, the only information that I've gathered is that the Transformers 2 movie is set to be in theatres June 26, 2009. Filming will start as of June 2nd of this year (2008), and that the budget will be definitely larger than what they had for Transformers which was $151 million. Based on that information.. I'm still sticking with $337 million.. :p

Considering the folowing...
-lighting
-filiming
-cars
-background
-plots
-props
-animation
-robots
-actors
blah, blah, I dunno the rest, but my guess, about $721 mil? Well, It'll be certantly worth it!

Well it's evident the robots will have more screen time. They wont get Shia and Megan back as cheap as they did for the first movie. So $200 million isn't a strectch at all. I hope it's more!!

ima be mad if they only get like 175 million or anything below 200 million. I mean come on! The first movie made over 700 million, even if this one doesnt do as well economically it still made a whole shitload off of the first one. So lets make it $200 or more :)

Considering they have 10 of the most expensive characters mapped out and ready for animation... if they started with less than 150 million they should probably be able to stretch it out further and do more in the sequel than they had in this one!
I would say the Sequel should do better because more children/people are aware of the series now.
I guess... 175 to 225 million. That would probably be enough to add 20-40% more CGI to the movie. (maybe?)

Ya thats all im thinking about, more budget = more robot action and screentime. Ya an extra 50million will add a little less than half more of robot time.
