"Michael Bay (http://movies.msn.com/celebs/celeb.aspx?c=237738), who doesn't even have a finished script yet for "Transformers 2," is keeping his fingers crossed that he won't have a delay hit his June 26, 2009, opening day."

If SAG strikes I wont support actors who are pro money about it unless they give a logical reason. I can understand a new contract though.
Good link, MitP. Its good to know that the Justice League and Terminator movies are going forward.

with this country going down the toilet faster than last nights greasy chicken..you expect these people to get more $$$.
The whole economy is going south and with it jobs, wages and way of life. If these people want more money go find another job. Dont throw millions of others out of a job cus you think its unfair.
Its a trickle down effect that this would destroy much in our economy. Unions are hurting our auto industry, our manufacturing industry and now hollywood.
I know its more of the c-d-e-f list actors that they are supporting but again..dont like your job go find another one. No one said you had to be an actor. Heck if Tom Hanks is is babbling on about it its just him "supporting" his fellow SAG members. and if you beleive that..I got some nice Patriots superbowl 42 champs gear to sell you.
The gravy train has pulled away from the station people..the U.S. is on the down till we figure out how to fix our way of life. And striking actors is not going to help.

*gulp*
If anyone can meet a date, it's Bay.
Now, as for them striking, I think it has to do with the same issue as the writer's: they want money from the internet media market.
I could be wrong though and not reading into it correctly.

I hear ya there.. Actors think they can get whatever they want including more money. They should be happy with what they have, living in 1 of their 4 mansions across the US, or even in other countries, having their 4 SUV's, their boats, and their parties in jamaica.. I only wish I could have 1/4 of the things they have.
If SAG decides to hit the picket lines, I think it's safe to say they won't get much in the way of sympathy.
