This year. lol

I would predict summer. I'm not buying it till it goes on sale though. I already have the dvd. That's $30 extra to put toward college. Gotta pinch those pennies.

Can't wait to buy it. I felt robbed when Paramount initially announced they will stop supporting Blu. To this day I use the Theatrical preview from the Playstation Store to show my friends how good Blu Ray Looks. I was planning to for it to be my systems show-off movie.

I Hope it is released with Lossless Sound. (I watch all my movies through HDMI 1.3 and it is a big difference). When you switch formats (dolby to PCM i.e.) on the same scene back to back you can notice a huge difference. As if many instrumentys and special FX sounds are missing.

I've tested this with That CG movie about the orphan boy who travels to the future and meets his family (Sorry! I don't know if its against the forum rules to mention other movies). That initial part when he arrives to the future and they fly around is very musical and the spectrum of sounds is so wide that can truly notice a difference, as if an instrument here and there was missing.

Pardon my spelling English is my second Language.

BTW. Paramount needs to strat announcing soon, Universal already did.

If I'm going to invest this much money (insert $ amount here) for a blu ray player...the blu ray version of Transformers better NOT be rushed and crappy!!!

TAKE YOUR TIME AND MAKE IT WORTH IT!!! :D

He already did take his time and make it worth it.

Remember that guy that posted on here a a while back about the audio problem he had on his HD-DVD disc? I think that was around the time where Bay mentioned that he had spent most of his time on the Blu Ray disc and wasn't that well informed about the HD-DVD disc. IIRC, after that came the press release about how sub par the HD-DVD disc was.

(I've always assumed this is why he was so *livid* about the exclusive. The man does not like to waste his time. I respect that!)
