A "new" GM car for 2008

This could be a perfect sideswipe or Hot Rod for TF2

I had a 2006 Corvette, not the z06 but just regular 400 HP edition. I miss it ::sigh::. damn $800 monthly payments on the lease, don't miss that!

That's a poor fluorescent light not doing the red tintcoat justice.. Yuck.

Anyway, I hope they don't keep churning out "special editions", say... I don't know, like Ford does.....

Someone better call Chevy and Dodge cus the Camaro and the Challenger look alot like the Mustang...

;)

The Viper and the vette both have the same styling for the same reason the Camaro and the Mustang share the same styling..the mission they are performing.
The styling is just by accident really...I dont think GM was worrying about sales from Viper...and copying it. The headlights are goverment mandated..you dont see popups anymore for that reason.
It is funny that they do share a really striking similar look. But if you take the last gens they both are good transitions of the new car. and imo..the C5 to C6 is more fluid exicution where the Viper looks like its front clip was placed over all new sheetmetal from the doors back.
In person you can tell the diff. but in pictures it is a little double taking :D

lol..the Corvette has more special editions each year than any other car out there today..It is just not marketed as such..and the reason they make them is the corvette bunch buy them..

(all I knew of was the pace car) You do know I meant "special edition" (with cynic quotations) = as in it's practically more of a trim level than an actual limited run.

Ron Fellows SE Corvette..there is a Victory edition Vette..there are a few more team sponsored and chevy dealer backed special editions out there for the racing teams that use the C6. But yea on par the Vette per year has more special editions out there than any other car. I was at a GM event about a year ago and met a rep for corvette..surprisingly he was not one of the shmucks that they throw out there with no info and just a "yes its got that" attitude. This guy knew his stuff great to talk to and informed me of alot of stuff about corvette that I didnt know about, and one was this about the SE vettes.
