The only two that come to mind, are American History X and The Life Aquatic.

Terry Gilliam's Brazil. Of course the originally intended ending.

Do you mean as in twist endings, or any?

These are my favorites (some pretty common), broken down even further.

Twist endings:
Planet of the Apes (classic, good choice Galvatron)
Sixth Sense (another now famous twist)
Fight Club (debateable as a twist ending, but still counting it as one)
The Others (similar to Sixth Sense, but still creepy)
Se7en (tripped me out)
Usual Suspects

Feel Good Endings:
Fever Pitch (although I'm not a big Sox fan, towards the end I was rooting for them that year, and this movie's ending captured some of that)
Transformers (had to throw it in, Prime atop the hill at dusk, enough said)

Tragic/Emotional Endings (got-something-in-my-eye endings :D ):
Big Fish
Leon
BraveHeart

Honorable Mention:
Heat (final showdown between Pacino/DeNiro, could go either way, rooting for both good guy/bad guy), gracefully ends with Moby's God Moving Over the Face of the Waters

Heat
RoboCop
The Bourne Ultimatum

Those are the three that stick out for me at the moment.

I kinda hate mentioning an Adam Sandler movie in this thread. but I think 50 First Dates had an awesome ending.

RTYPE, I just mean all time favorite, not too thrilled with prime on top of the hill, but starscream screaming into the heavens, that rocked!!!!!!

But, I think I like the Prime ending more for the way it looks moreso than for what's actually going on. The sun's rays bouncing off of Prime just looks cool (it amazes me, considering there's nothing really there in that shot). Both the Prime and SS scenes speak to each's characters, repectively, but SS breaking atmo feels more like an afterthought.

 OOps, didn't mean to turn it into a TF topic.

Back on topic, I honestly have too many all-time favorite endings to pick only one. :o

The Devils Rejects had a good ending. I regret watching it but it sucked me in wanting to see what happens to them. I didn't like the first movie at all.

"Let's get some fucking ice cream." - haha, my favorite scene.

Alien
The Departed (who didn't see this coming...?)
Raging Bull
SLC Punk (some crazy scenes with acid in there)
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Pulp Fiction

I also like Devil's Rejects as a sentimental favorite. Tooty FUIKN FROOTY! :p

Gave this some thought and I'm bac with my list:
They (massive twist)
Titanic
Heat
Reefer Madness
Pulp Fiction

I have some others, but those are the ones that hit me. At first I listed editing favorites. I saw two topics stacked in the forum and switched editing for ending =D
