ok so it is not a big difference, but here it is:

theatre version: when john malkovich (sam's boss) first meets bumblebee, he says "freaking awesome"

blu ray version: but in this version he says "f***ing awesome"

so there it is.

i actually prefer the theatre version just because it sounded better to me. thats just my opinion.

what do u guys think?

Huh, didni't noticed that, awesome!!!

I haven't noticed any differences either, except in sound effects. There's an alarm now when Cybertron aproaches at the end, when Simmons' on the roof. And some others.

Also, the orange traffic cone knocked over by the cars Sentinel shot at (during his betrayal) is no longer there. It must have been digitally removed.

I think that saying "f**king awesome" sounds like a more realistic thing Bruce would say. It's a giant f**king robot after all!

Yeah, I heard him drop the F bomb while watching the blu-ray last night. I was thinking to myself... I definitely do not remember that part from watching it in the theater.

An f-bomb? Really? Good god, I hate that word.

I put on the closed captioning to make sure it was f-ing, and it was there. I also noticed with the blu-ray that the when Laserbeak is flyingyou can see the hot air from his turbines better than what I could it in the theaters (both 3d adn 2d).

Carly's (RHW) Booty shot while walking up the stairs appears to be edited a little shorter. I could have sworn that the theatre version I saw followed her butt from the start of the stair case with a closer tighter shot. I forgive it though, because I don't feel embarrassed starring at it while watching the BlueRay with my wife (Thanks!).

I also noticed that Sentinal Prime was metallic gold in previous version when shown in the Ark on the moon & that has been corrected to metallic red now on the DVD (outstanding catch!).

There are some other scenes I don't recall seeing with Shockwave in the theatre such as him being killed by Optimus instead of being finished off by the human attack.

I actually like the DVD version better than the theatre version.

PLEASE LET THERE BE THE THEATER VERSION (uncensored!) ON THE SPECIAL EDITION BLU-RAY or whatever..!

Yeah, the biggest difference was the "fucking awesome" instead of "freaking awesome". While they were at it, they should of let Brains say the entire phrase "we're in a real clusterfuck!" instead of cutting it before the f word.

Then it would have been rated R

Actually, not on DVD releases, they could just slap on not rated on the packaging.

I think the line is funnier when the "fuck" is cut off by the next scene right after "cluster".

ROTF is rated 12 and Megan Fox says "fucking do something" while the paramedic trys to revive sam.

Why? Adding that word was completely pointless. All it does it make the movie less friendly for the little ones. Yes, i understand there is alot of violence and other swears, but changing this one around was completely and utterly pointless. Completely indefensible. While its not the end of the world, I have to say i a little bit dissapointed that it was changed. And no, it wouldn't have been better to have Brains finish his sentance. Part of what made that line as funny as it is was the fact it was cut out. Yes, we all knew what he was going to say, but at the same time, he didn't say it.

Sentinel was always Red in the Ark. He was only yellow in the first teaser trailer.

The part when Sam's parent see his crappy car... I thought in the movie she said "piece of crap" but on the DVD she says "piece of shit"?

Also i didn't notice the part when Sam's mother walks pass Carly in the White house and comments "nice box" lmao...

Sentinel is red (even in the Ark) in the theatrical version, too. Checked it out today.

Are you from Oahu? I saw DOTM at Dole Cannery and Ward in July. :)

Yeah, you all are right on this; I now realize I recalled the announcement trailer Sentinel gold color & did a mental switch on that after seeing it the movie.

Hi Sora, I live in Oahu & saw DOTM at Dole Cannery IMAX in July as well. I attempted to catch the Ward Theatre showing but was distracted by long work hours. Was it awesome to see it in TitanXC?
Which experience did you like better, IMAX or TitanXC?

Brightness = IMAX
Largeness, sound, seat = TitanXC.

As a tourist, I also liked the accessibility of TitanXC/Ward from Waikiki. :)

That's sweet, I really got to make time to checkout TitanXC. Funny, I get the feeling we both could've been sitting in the same IMAX showing.

Best to you,
Carlton
